Hey SF ravers,
Visiting from LA for 7L's show at Bill Graham and considering a few options for afters, right now I narrowed it down to:
Open to other suggestions for afters on 5/30 too - preferably walkable from Bill Graham since I'm also staying near there too. Thanks for your help!
As the title suggests, wondering what some favorite free festivals or block parties are going on in greater LA area?
My personal faves so far are South Pasadena Arts & Music Crawl (formerly the Eclectic Fest), El Segundo Art Walk, and Echo Park Rising - all feature multiple entertainment stages, have lots of spaces for showcasing art and activities, and priortizes local/small biz vendors; would love to discover more like these yearround - thanks for your suggestions!
2 flatbread pizzas, 2 boxes of chicken potstickers, buffalo sauced chicken nuggets, vegan curry with basmati rice - my first prepped food bag from WF and I can see why they go so fast!
Surprisingly still got a good dose of fragrance (to me it smells like Febreze w Gain); anyhoo won't be making it out this year so cheering y'all on from YouTube & Discord as I EDCouchsurf 🥳
To everyone going - have fun, stay safe and keep PLURR thriving!
Which shows did you go and how were they?
For me, I'm a bit bummed it shrank a bit from 2024 (fewer dates, no "fest central" like the Palladium backlot in '24) but overall had a good time for the shows I did attend (Jim Gaffigan, Wanda Sykes, Charlene Kaye, Depths of Wikipedia).
A rustic loaf, a sesame baguette & a buncha focaccia; guess a lotta bread sandwiches are in order!
Details below (disclaimer they may take more RSVPs than they have room for, and actual tix are distributed first-come first-served basis the day of show.)
