I got invited to the beta and redeem on steam but the download is only 170 bytes and doesn't launch anything. What am I doing wrong?

My buddy have me a 14.5 MK1 with the 4150 barrel. I don't have the lower and only have a milspec bcm lower. Does anyone know if this upper will work well with the milspec lower? If so what buffer weight and spring for it?
