Onn 8.1?

Been on the fence on getting an iPad mini but
The onn 8.1 looks enticing
I have an iPad Pro m4 that I use for everything else
But
I also have a new paperwhite that I use to read my books
I’m thinking about the onn 8.1 to read my books and my graphic novels as well
I’m bummed that the silver isn’t available anymore
Is the tcl tab 8 gen 2 worth it over the onn 8.1?
What do yall think
Do yall have the onn 8.1?
Or should I go cheaper with the onn 7 for graphic novels?

So I’m looking into buying the xwing novel collection
I see 1-9 on eBay of the original print and then I see the new print available but only 1-5
I think there’s 10?
Should I get the new print or the original?

Absolutely love my kindle paperwhite

Just started reading ACOTAR
Am I the only one who likes 1 size font and zero line spacing?
I had it on 1 line spacing and felt it seemed off from what I had on my basic
Size 1 font and 0 bold, 0 line spacing feels like I get more words per page and absolutely feels like the real thing
I love customizable it is and how you can tailor it
I know there’s other that will disagree with my preferences but I love to make it feel just like the real thing
Having a kindle is such an addiction

Side note
Now I’m looking at a decent tablet to read my graphic novels

Hey guys, tcl nxtpaper8?

So
My impulsiveness got me yesterday as I went to Best Buy
I got the kindle paperwhite on sale to upgrade from the basic
And I love it
But
I want to read graphic novels too and I didn’t like the colorsoft when comparing
So I went with the paperwhite now
This morning I found the tcl next paper 8
Now I’m interested in giving my new paperwhite to my GF and get the tcl as my new ereader and graphic novel reader
Has anyone used one? Or what are your thoughts

Upgraded from the basic to the Paperwhite!!

I wasn’t planning on buying the paperwhite today
I went to Best Buy to compare the CS for graphic novels to my phone and I didn’t like the color difference..
And I can tell the grainy look people say when comparing the CS to the PW
And I saw that the prices were on sale
I’ve been wanting the paperwhite for awhile solely for the warm feature
I love the basic and I have read three novels on it since I got it last month.. the size is perfect imo and I love the recessed screen..I love being able to put it in my back pocket..
But reading the basic at night..
Yeah..
I needed the paperwhite
Had to get the case to go with it as well

I’m debating on what to get next

So I recently got the kindle basic
And I’m on my second 400+ page book in the matter of two weeks
And I love it
I love the size of the basic
I love how I can one hand it in bed while I lay on my side etc all that
One thing
I want to read graphic novels
I want to read comics
I own them physically but I can’t bear the thought of potentially damaging them or taking them to work to read etc etc.
I have a MacBook Neo that I’m thinking about trading in and getting an iPad mini,
Or waiting for the iPad mini oled
I’ve seen videos how dedicated readers turn an iPad mini into an ereader and I’m interested in the same
I’ve looked other tablets
Cheap ones from the Onn tablets at Walmart
For the sole purpose of reading my kindle library and my graphic novels etc
Or, should I just get a colorsoft?
I went to go look at the paperwhite and colorsoft at target but they only had the PW on display
I tried to sample a few comics on the basic but I can’t get over the ghosting
Those who read graphic novels, comics on the colorsoft
Is it worth it for the 280$ price or do you think the color vibrancy would be better on a lcd display
I know buying an iPad just to do that is straight over kill as to why I’m looking at onn tablets 7 and 8.1 97$ and 138$
