In person meeting transcriber

Does anyone use a in person meeting transcriber?

I have recently taken a in person meeting heavy role and seems like a logical thing to do - get a physical transcriber to jot down next steps, follow ups and important information.

Recently saw a colleague mention Plaud (available on amazon), before I go down on the rabbit hole I just want to know if it is really useful vs just a shiny new object?

Any experiences with this will be helpful please.

Claude Design - use cases

Has anyone used Claude design to create some groundbreaking designs? What do you usually use it for and how helpful / useful has it been for designers?

I have access but have unfortunately not had time to play around and interested in knowing how people are using it?

With Space X IPO being a big thing in all gambling, investing, financial subreddits did anyone get into the game just to avoid FOMO and how are you doing now?

I did not get into it because I thought the price made no sense but seems like some people made a quick buck by timing it right. Any success stories to share from the ladies?

Mid Week motivation - small wins

What are some small, micro wins that you had so far this week?

I started my Substack and fixed my side AI project to add some limits after being burnt by a API bill from Google 😄 - Small wins - happy for the week.

What are some small things you accomplished this week? Share with others so they can be motivated to pull through the week.

Integrating Google Cloud run into shopify store

I have been running the shopify store for over 4 years now. But was never interested in apps / other customizations. Just used the existing themes and kept things simple.

I have a app created in Google Cloud run - its dynamic content. I want to have a page on my shopify store which embeds the google cloud run content on it.

I am confused as to what is the best way to achieve this? Is it through apps? My google run page is fully deployed and running as expected and has a public URL. I just want this to show up on a page in my shopify store.

Help please 😄

The involvement of the government in the deactivation of Fable 5 and Mythos is scary and concerning at the same time?

While I have not used Fable 5 in all its glory because I did not have access to it. But just the thought of the Government curbing the innovation and acceleration of IT just because it can is scary to say the least.

The whole idea that makes AI an industry worth investing is to level the playing field for people with lower capabilities so they can have opportunities which they never had before. The involvement of govt to curb the innovation and ensure that only some members of the society have access make it look like the world is still very biased towards certain societies which just shares a bleak future for commoners.

Anyone have other perspectives around this decision?

Interesting customer event ideas - my AE took us to a club for shotgun shooting?

I have done some incredible locations for Lunch and learn events, the usual top golf outings and so on. Until last month my AE a Shotgun shooting coach decided to take us to a club in the south where you did clay shooting.

I was not even aware that something like this exists. The clay is shot into the air like a baseball ball and then we aim and shoot with the shotgun. Then you can bring your own protein to barbeque while the club provides sides, desserts to make a full meal.

What are some of the OOTB customer events you have done in Tech sales? I learn so much about people, hobbies and activities on my job that I just enjoy all aspects of it. What have been your stories for fun customer events that are not traditional?

Today the subreddit hit 2k members and I am thankful to everyone for being here and choosing to join the subreddit. While I as a moderator am still trying to find the right path for the sub I greatly appreciate everyone's contributions to keep the conversations going.

Milestone : Hit 2k members

Hit 2k members in our subreddit today.

Until it was 1k members I was crossposting in all relevant communities. After that all I was doing was just providing good content and a reason for people to come back. Did something like promote yourself once a week which gets some attention and a lot of people come in just to promote themselves.

Nothing crazy just slowing growing at an acceptable pace without burning out.

Do you use any frameworks to draft your conversations?

Spent two days in a presentation training and the one thing I learned which resonated with me was to use a framework to use for conversations.

S- Situation

P - Problem

O - Outcome

K - Key solution

E - Engage

N - Net benefits

You start by stating the current situation of the customer, then the problem they are having, what outcome can you get them to, what solution are you offering, show them a vision of what to think or how to engage in this conversation and finally end with net benefits that they will achieve after incorporating the solution you mentioned.

I felt having some sort of a framework which is outcome and benefits driven and also well defined was kind off needed in Sales. Having clear asks, clarifying the outcome drives credibility and ensures transparency.

What are your thoughts and are there any frameworks that work for you in your everyday sales?

The tech job being mostly sedentary adds to a lot of health issues as we age.

In my late 30s and I can finally feel the years of bad lifestyle choices catching up with my body. I am missing the motivation to work out on a daily basis (do have young kids and I do know and understand the importance of health in my life)

I see Inflammation showing up on all my social media feeds and I am wondering if this is the new fitness trend or really a thing? Is it just a trendy topic so everyone is using it as a moat to get views? While I am overweight all my tests are normal and loosing weight is becoming harder. So I am confused as to is it inflammation and how to test it out?

Has anyone gone through this? Maybe I just do not know how to explain it out :(

Do you have some small wins that you want to share during this week?

My two small wins are - finishing my expense reports this week, and implementing an integration which was always being pushed back due to other priorities.

In the spirit of spreading some positive vibes in a world full of negativity share your small wins for this week :)

We talk a lot about utilizing AI and automation to scale our businesses and hit our KPIs, but I want to talk about the "second shift"—the invisible mental load of managing a household, raising a family, and keeping our personal lives running smoothly.

For the working mothers and busy executives in this group, the mental gymnastics of coordinating schedules, meal planning, and daily logistics can be exhausting. I’m curious: how are you actively deploying AI and tech tools to buy back your personal time?

Are you using specific prompts to generate weekly family menus, leveraging AI agents to manage your personal inbox, or using tools to help brainstorm family activities?

Drop your favorite tech hacks, prompts, and apps that actually reduce your mental load at home!

I started this to be a safe space for Women in Tech Sales to talk about their careers, growth, issues, while finding a space space of women who actually were in the same headspace as them.

Today I am happy to say that we have reached 1000/weekly visitors in a small time that we have been active as a community. While we still do not have a lot of discussions going on just showing up in itself is a huge deal and I want to thank all the people that take time to stop by, read and contribute.

Thank you and looking forward to building a positive community of Women supporting others in this space :)

Been in the industry for 12+ years and I am finally tired of not having any protein options for vegetarians at the buffets.

Generally at home I enjoy hot meals 3 times a day and there is a balance of carbs+ protein but at the conferences it is so hard to find protein other than the sugary protein bars. SKO last week hit me hard to with only carb heavy lunches and dinners. I do plan on taking this up with the HR this time. Has anyone had any luck in complaining about this?
