Hey everyone,
I (15M) am sharing this video of a fight because it’s exactly what happened to me a year ago. I was punched, knocked out cold (lost consciousness), and while I was limp, I fell head-first onto a metal radiator.
The physical changes since that day are insane:
Immediate Growth: Within the same week of the hit, I started growing at a rate of 6cm per month. I went from 5'4" to 5'9" (12cm) in just 8 weeks. Now I’m 6'1" (186cm).
Bone Density: My bones feel weirdly "hard" and massive, like my frame became way too thick too fast.
Chronic Migraines: I’ve had severe, constant headaches since the incident.
I need your help with these questions:

  1. Double Impact: What happens to the brain when you are already unconscious (brain shut down) and then suffer a second hard impact on a metal object like a radiator?
  2. The "Control Center": Could this double trauma have damaged the part of my brain that regulates growth? (Reference: PMC4164321).
  3. Action Plan: How should a case like this be handled medically? I’ve been brushed off by general doctors, but I finally have an appointment with a specialist (endocrinologist) this Monday. What specific brain scans (MRI/CT) should I demand?
    Thanks for any insights.

everyone, I'm looking for some honest opinions or medical insight.
When I was 13 (April 2024), I got into a fight and was knocked out. I hit the back of my head pretty hard (against a heater). I didn't call an ambulance and I didn't get checked by a doctor at the time.
A few days after, I felt "off" and like the world was kind of weird/unreal for a bit. About a year later, I started getting migraines with visual aura.
Around the same period, I also had a big growth spurt. I went from about (5,6) 164-171 cm cm to around 186(6,1) cm within 1-2 years.
My doctor recently told me everything looks normal, but l still keep wondering:
Is it even possible that a head injury or concussion could affect growth (like through the pituitary gland/hormones)?
Or is it much more likely that this was just normal puberty timing and coincidence?
Also, could not getting checked right after the injury cause any long-term issues?
I'd really appreciate any insights or similar experiences.
Thanks 🙏

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some honest opinions or medical insight.

Around the same period, I also had a big growth spurt. I went from about (5,6)164–171 (5,7) cm to around 186 (6,1) cm within 1–2 years.

My doctor recently told me everything looks normal, but I still keep wondering:
