Why do some people genuinely believe that the plastic pieces, is somehow the deciding factor between “nice bike” and “your gonna kill yourself” 🤦♂️

Just picked it up from the dealership, brand spanking new, and holy shit my nuts hurt!
So I’m going to pick up the bike from the dealership tomorrow, but it’s a long ways away so I’ll be synching it in the back of a pickup truck. Has anyone else done this? I know I need to use the forks, but don’t know if they’re accessible due to the fairings. Just would like to figure it out before I get there, thanks.
I’m planing on getting the bike by this weekend. This will be my first time purchasing any vehicle from a dealership and I don’t really know how to go about it. OTD quote was like 7.9k for the Blue/red SE abs, and I plan on using like 6k outa pocket, and taking a personal loan for the rest. But I don’t know how to communicate this between both the dealer, and the bank 🤷♂️. Would I technically be paying in full to the dealer? What info would I need for the bank? If any about the bike purchase? I’m obviously anxious about it all, and would love to just walk in with a brick of cash and sign the paper, but I need to build credit 😮💨.
Alright, this isn’t really a ninja 500 post, but I need help. So I just so happens to smash the shit outa my middle finger on my left hand the day before the first course day. I had to get the nail drained and everything, it’s swollen and screaming, but I payed too much money for this damn course. I’ve taken the course before and I’ve been licensed for 3 yrs now, just gotta take it again cause the army says so 🤷♂️. Anyways, I only got one pair of gloves and with how swollen this thing is I can’t fit the glove properly. Do you think if I explain to the instructors, theirs a chance I can just wear the one glove? Or am I just gonna have to eat the pain
Alright( so for the past few weeks I’ve had a pretty bad exhaust leak, partnered with loss of power. Found out today it’s cause my 2nd cat was clogged and blew one of the gaskets. So I had the gasket replaced, and I just can not drop money to get a new cat, so I opted for the delete. What issues am I looking at after this whole procedure is done? FYI it’s a 09 2.4l.
I have an 2.4l 09 coupe, and it’s showing its age (still beautiful tho). I already got some maintenance stuff I gotta take care of, but I’m tired of it looking like crap whenever It is working.
The leathers all tore up and cracked by the sun. The headlights kinda suck too, and the exhaust sound is just terrible (other than the leak that im getting fixed). I plan on getting a bike soon and don’t want to drop a bunch of money on a 17yr old car, other than to just make sure it runs 😕. Any seat cover/ steering wheel/ arm rest cover suggestions? Headlight brands? Shit maybe even a digital center console? And is there way to make the exhaust sound better without a full exhaust swap?
I’m planing on getting the Blue/Red SE in like a month or so (if these dealers stop playing in my face bout the price) and was just wondering if yall could share some pics?
2009 with the 2.4l, I don’t know if it’s suckin or blowin, but I don’t like it. And I do occasionally lose power, and got no clue where it’s coming from other than from the front.
I’m not a stranger to 2 wheels, I’ve been navigating the roads on 50-80cc scooters for like 4 years now (I know this a whole different ball game). I didn’t even learn how to drive a car until like 2 years ago. But it’s time for a damn upgrade. I’ve been eying the 650 for like 3+ years, I love the look, the riding position, and I respect the power it’s got. And I’ve fell in love with that matte green 2024 fairing. So here’s my issue, this will be my first bike with a clutch🤷♂️. I’ve taken the MSF, and I’ve ridden a buddy’s 500, none of it’s difficult. I have a buddy who’s been riding for bout 12 years, and has owned like 14 different bikes. He is VERY adamant about me starting at a lower cc, mainly wants me on a 500 or 4RR, even suggesting a 300. I do really value his opinion and knowledge, but I’ve been looking at the 650 for 3+ years! So it’s difficult for me to weigh his input vs just getting the 650. I’m also not super against a 500, as the new year looks pretty damn good, and it’s quite a bit cheaper. So how should I go about this?
Is there an app or website that’s accurate with translations? I’ve been using a beta keyboard to better learn and practice with some friends, but it just mirrors English letters into runes and shits just wrong.
