Found these in storage. All come with DVDs and the book. The diet and exercise one is still in original wrapping. The others are opened but haven’t been used. Anyone can have them for the cost of shipping.
Found this in a box. It’s got discs for Windows and Mac in it. Google tells me it’s pretty outdated. Is it worth passing on to someone who will use it or should I toss it?
My fridge randomly started having a very strong chemically smell (some liken it to spraypaint). It’s strong enough that you smell it when you open the door and some foods have even taken on a weird taste. It does seem slightly stronger in the freezer than the fridge, if that matters.
All food was removed, the fridge was cleaned top to bottom, just to be sure it wasn’t some weird spill or mold and it doesn’t seem to have improved things.
A repair guy came over, said he couldn’t really smell anything (the smell seems to have highs and lows, unfortunately was at a low when he was there), but that he didn’t think it’d be a refrigerant leak since he’d been there working on the dishwasher for 30 minutes and hadn’t heard the fridge run once, let alone the continuous running that would suggest it had a leak and was struggling to keep cold.
What’s weird is that this exact same scent popped up in a relative’s fridge. One day, randomly, the food just tasted off and it kept going for like an entire year. They’d cleaned the fridge, obviously gone through plenty of new batches of food in that time, and the smell just persisted for like a year until it randomly went away.
The repair guy said his only thought was just the chemicals used in the plastics in fridges have some kind of smell that’s somehow been released.
Anyone else ever experienced this?
My Bosch dishwasher (model #: SHU43C02UC/17) stopped draining. I took the filter from the bottom out and cleaned it (it wasn’t that dirty - I rinse dishes before putting them in).
Ran a short rinse cycle just to see if it would drain when done. (My dishwasher is old, it doesn’t have a drain option or a screen to show codes.) The water seemed to drain somewhat, as there was about as much water as there was before I ran the rinse, and not the original water + the new rinse water.
Then, following a YouTube video, I ran one of those plastic drain snakes through my sink drains (double sink) and poured some dish soap and boiling water down the drains. They weren’t that dirty, but thought I’d try it. When I checked my dishwasher after doing all that, there was even more water than before. Seemed like water from my sink was maybe going into the dishwasher?
I messed around underneath my sink. The dishwasher drain pipe that connected to my sink’s drain pipe popped off pretty easily when I bumped it. It didn’t seem connected well.
Even with that disconnected, my dishwasher then is still slowly filling up with water in the bottom. Any ideas? I’d originally called an appliance repair person about the drainage issue who can come in a few days, but after the drain pipe disconnected and the dishwasher started filling up with water, I’m wondering if I should call a plumber to come sooner.
(By the way, I don’t have a garbage disposal.)
Gonna be driving from Bozeman to the Dakotas later this week. Are there any parks or sites near (but hopefully east of) Bozeman that would be worth going through on the way out? Yellowstone isn’t too far south (hour and a half?) but if there’s anything else less out of the way I’d be interested. I’m not looking to do a ton of hiking or camping, just maybe a short hike or a scenic drive (that’s worth it) as I make my way east. Seeing animals would be cool.
