Gooseworx fans on this app are crazy
For context Im gonna have to talk about a post i made on a tadc sub a while back.
I made a post a couple months ago detailing all of the controversial stuff Gooseworx has done and my personal opinion on the situation, and long story short, people REALLY hated my post, I got sent so many death threats and hate comments that I had to delete the post entirely.
I thought that was just a one-off thing and my post was just shown to the wrong people.
Two days ago i made a post on the Gooseworx subreddit, the post was about this bootleg Jax plushy that i bought, and i briefly mentioned that i didnt buy an official plushy because i didnt want to support Goose. I thought it would be safer to post about my dislike of Goose on that sub since the rules state that any post is okay as long as its related to Goose and her creations, there was no rule stating i couldn’t criticise her, and i figured that posts about criticising her would be normalised and i wouldn’t get flamed.
I was sooooo wrong about that.
I immediately got an influx of hate comments stating that i was attention seeking, that i was an asshole, that i was immature and people just being straight up rude. I even had someone report me to the reddit suicide watch thingy, like.. wtf??
I was so confused because my post was about the bootleg i bought, i had about five comments talking about the bootleg, and a hundred other comments just being hateful.
Most of their arguments boil down to ‘you briefly mentioned you didnt support goose on a gooseworx subreddit so all the hate comments are kinda your fault and also your attention seeking.’
Ive even had comments stating I’m transphobic. I’ve also had people demanding to explain why i don’t like her, and i refused since last time i did that, i got people in my DM’s sending me hurtful shit.
Im just really bothered about this because i feel like i haven’t done anything bad, i made a post about a bootleg, i briefly mentioned i buy bootlegs because i don’t want to support Goose, and that was it.
After this i honestly refuse to touch those subreddits with a ten foot pole, i just wanted to talk abt my plushy dude :P
