IND to DUB
Will be flying this Weds to DUB from IND.
Curious how the recent flights have been.
Smooth? Full? Semi full? Can you move if there's an open seat/row?
Food? Entertainment?
The basics. TIA

Does anyone know if any of the local foster home programs take old luggage for the kiddos that may age out and need more than a garbage bag?
If so, where?

I still can't stand Vicki.
Emily has changed.
Shannon needs to get over herself.
Tamra is always a bitch.
Gina ....she deserves happy, but not sure poor Trav is it.
I like Carmella. But her kids.....oooof.
Heather.....ooof. But her son is so handsome. I hope those kids are relatively normal and grounded.
I'll watch, but it's going to be awful.
I'm an indiana transplant and still exploring the state. This weekend (my birthday weekend) will be spent visiting Bloomington and Nashville.
I like to walk and will be staying near IU stadium.
Where is:
Best bakery
Best pizza
Best hamburger
Is there a gay friendly area or is the entire city pretty chill?
Anything I should see? Should avoid?
People tell me the area is fun, so I'm looking forward to seeing how fun it is.
I am starting to plan out a 7 or 10 day trip from the US to Ireland. I'll fly American (I have a credit) and want to go to Dublin, then take a train to Belfast and then a train to Derry. I figure 2 days each stop (maybe more if it's 10 days). I'll take a bus from Derry to Dublin airport.
I like to walk around the city centers and I don't drink alcohol, but not against a pub that has live music and good food.
Thoughts for where to stay in Dublin, near train station, and the same for the other two cities.
I'm planning on October of this year. What other considerations should I have?
Thanks!
I am planning a trip with my bestie at the end of September.
We are staying at the Reef Beach Resort by Wyndham.
Are there things to see or do on that end that may not need a car?
She's more beach and relax, I (M) would like to see some of the island and what it may offer.
We are both 57. I don't drink, either, and are first timers.
I may still rent one, so is Andy's the best place?
Appreciate the discussion.
Has anyone else who has Xfinity experienced a rate hike? They didn't contact me, and I had been told my $35 was never going to change, yet it has to $79. If they don't give me a different rate, what other options might I have? I am in NE Indy (Binford/ 56th area).
Hey all!
So, lots of valid feelings about RID and the Board.
BUT, there is a way to help make that change!
Run or nominate someone for one of SEVEN positions that are open for election!
Treasurer, Member at Large and ALL FIVE REGION REPS!!
The Bylaws has the specifics, but WE are RID!
I've done my part at the AC level and have continued that on committees.
It can get better! WE can make it better!
I got a snag when doing my flooring project and need some guidance with what to do next.
I'm surmising new subfloor and that it beyond my skill set. I am low grade handy with a limited toolbox and a drill.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
(I deleted and re-posted as I figured out my problem. Lol)
A few months ago, I had a plumber here for some issues I was having. While here, she tested the water softener, and said it was working as expected.
A few weeks later, there was this god awful sound coming from the water softener. The salt in the brine tank looked "off", too.
I couldn't figure it out, so I shut the water supply off and unplugged it.
My question is: should I call back that (or any) plumber (2 hour min, truck fees, repair fees, etc) and repair it or should I have them replace it? Not sure the age, but again, the previous plumber said it was working fine.
OR, is there a handyman/woman who doesn't charge all the extras that would be just as fine?
If this were YOU, what would YOU do?
TYIA for the help. It's overwhelming.
