Aanbod junior tax advisor

My sister vs me

I come from a relatively wealthy family (upper class), and I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunities and privileges that come with that. However, my younger sister has always received significantly more support than I.

Until recently, this mostly meant things like designer bags, jewelry, unlimited spending money, and having her private university education fully paid for. Now, she has also been given real estate and a company.

Since I was 15, I’ve always had side jobs and have largely provided for myself. Even during my studies, I paid for my own expenses and took out student loans to cover the rest, debts that I’m still carrying while continuing my education.

My sister, on the other hand, has never had a job apart from mandatory internships. I know she has also been given a substantial amount of savings, and now this additional support.

What makes this especially difficult is that I’ve always done a lot for my parents. I’m always there when they need help, I’ve never been a difficult child, and I’ve consistently made an effort to support them. Yet it feels as though I do the most for my parents while receiving the least in return.

I’m not jealous of my younger sister, but I might resent her for not standing up for me, instead she acts spoiled and as if it is her right. I can’t help feeling unsettled by the situation. Whenever I’ve tried to discuss it, I’m ignored.

I also can’t shake the feeling that money is sometimes used as a means of control in my case, whereas with my sister it seems to be used to make her life easier.

I’m curious whether anyone else has experienced something similar. If so, did the dynamic ever change, and how did you cope with it?

French open what to do

Hi,
I’m going to the French Open this week for the second time. When I went last year, I had little time to explore properly, but since I’m going alone this time, I’m excited to do so.

Any recommendations? Unfortunately, the tour is already sold out…

How difficult is it to find a job in taxation in Switzerland?

I'm pursuing my masters at the moment, and would like to work in Switzerland once I graduate.

I'm from NL. Speak Dutch (C2), English (C1) and French (B1-B2).

I'm particularly interest in VAT taxation.
