AOA I am looking to construct a house in bahria orchard lahore 10 marla and i am low on budget.

I regularly watch Youtube video of construction companies that give estimation of house construction cost for grey structure.

in present date Grey structure cost for 5 marla double story - is around 55-60 lac and 10 marla is around 80lac to 1 crore approx depending on materials and other factors ofcourse when constructed from a dealer/construction company.

My question is, if i source all material myself and hire a contracter. What will be the price difference and savings? I would prefer to also hire a consultant civil engineer to make sure the construction is upto par e.g all details are upto requirement like DPC, Ground work, seepage control, laintern construction and many things that i and thekedaar would not have technical knowledge of.

for 10 marla , i can go smaller covered area in between 5 marla to 10 marla 2200-3400 sq feet. i have small family so i can make adjustments. i dont need a kitchen upstairs or 5 bedrooms etc. can cut some corners to lower cost.

Can anyone guide me on actual projected cost for grey structure for 8 or 10 marla double story with above requirments. I know there are so many things that come into play for the final cost in terms of material and map and location but assume a+ grey structure material (bricks, pipes, electric wires etc) and 3 bedrooms maybe 4 with one kitchen.

the finishing cost is irrelvant at this stage and can be decided later. would appreciate any other suggestions aswell.

AOA - my honda city isnt giving great performance for AC in the heat. Its cooling but not at the performance it should. I have never refilled or repaired the gas since i bought it 8 years ago approximately.

Can anyone advice me what i need to do and a reliable AC mechanic that will fill gas or service the AC. The AC is running 7/10 i dont want anyone to make a huge bill out of something which isnt broken.

Need some advice. i have a sony bravia LCD tv KLV-40S400A. i bought it more than 10 years ago and has been running solid until recently when it started giving lines. I thuoght my kid had smashed the screen but it was a problem in the board or tcon board etc.

I took it to repair shop and he suggested to either repair the original board or install chinese board with android features.

The kids only watch youtube on the tv and i need to replace the android box that i have hooked with the TV. I am thinking what difference does it make replacing the sony board from 10 years ago with a cheap chinese android box.

the repair guy was transparent in telling me that the sound quality will suffer with this switch but mostly you will get more features. The cost is nearly the same in having old board repaired versus insalling china board with android. BTW the technician told me you cant go back to original board one switched.

AOA im from lahore, im looking for a fat tyre bike.

I purchased 2 bikes in COVID *one fat tyre and one regular mountain bike. they got stolen from my garage a year ago. Now bikes are really expensive.

i enjoyed riding the fat tyre bike, it was comfortable. Looking at prices they cost around 50 to 70k new. Any leads where i can buy a second hand for aroun 20ish?
