Only been playing for a few weeks.

On ps4 and Trying to learn some good team comps.

I'm trying to learn some characters that have good buttons without being too complicated like Ameterasu.

I've been playing mainly captain America and vergil so far, and looking for a 3rd character (not doctor Doom, ik he's good too but my brain can't figure him out. I've been trying Hawkeye though)

A character with decent range/gap closer and just good fundamental buttons would be perfect.

THIS IS OUR CHANCE.

Will repost on the main subs later.

But this is (possibly) the first Ultron legendary ever. We HAVE to mass purchase it, just like the Peni and Hulk mains did to get good skins. The more that we buy it, the more the devs have to recognize how quality legendaries to low-played characters can still sell well compared to another Luna skin.

We were meant to be beautiful, and this could be the ticket to peace of our time.

Dont worry Ultron Mains, we'll be the ones pulling the strings one day..

Peni main here, I know you are having a hard time just like we are in the new notes. (Ultron got no buffs, and Peni's stun got gutted for those who don't know)

So, don't worry, things will get better for both of us. These strings won't hold us forever.

Character hate vs character main hate.

This has been a pretty big issue in rivals for a long time, from all roles and nearly all characters.

We (yes, WE) have all gotten annoyed at our 5-17 Spiderman or Wanda refusing to swap.

We (yes, WE) are tired of Invis/Psy/Industry plant Luna getting their 15th legendary.

We've even gotten annoyed at the endless amounts of poke buffs, BP unreactable combos or the 17th immortality circle support ult.

BUT we need to differentiate hating/disliking the character, their balance, and the levels of attention and favoritism they get, from the people who actually play those characters.

Now I will not say that ALL Luna or other support players are innocent (they aren't). Nor will I say that ALL dps/especially dive players have huge egos and never swap (most do, but not all).

Now I won't get into the specifics of balance and skin distribution for this post. But I do think as a community we should all just put down our pitchforks at each other, and remind ourselves that just because someone likes a character, does not mean they agree with/conform the favoritsm that character gets. Nor does it mean that they are whining babies if they want a genuinely bad character to get buffed, or to feel fun again.

So, with that being said, I hope that anyone who reads this has a great day. Remember to complain about Ultron, and don't forget to step on some Peni mines. It makes us Peni mains feel happy.

What if, the bottom of the food chain, and the top, worked together?

I've come to an idea.

I can't remember if the devs said they're ever going to change/add/switch team ups, but hear me out.

Storm and Ultron have been two of the heads of TOBA for a long, long time, and get ignored all the time. So, what if we allied with the top of the food chain, the industry plants themselves.

Now I hate favoritism as much as anyone else, especially when it comes to a certain Popstar character. BUT, by allying with them, we will use the devs favoritism for our own benefit.

So, what if we go to the other subreddits/community discussions/etc, and pitch some team up ideas for them, to remind the devs that these characters actually exist outside nerfs.

Storm could have a blizzard team up with Luna snow, that plays one of her songs and either applies vulnerability to enemies and maybe a damage resistant buff to allies (depending on the wind/lightning mode).

Ultron could finally have an offensive drone, that fires a punch ricochet shot every time Ultron lands the last shot of his primary. Or he could gain a ricochet beam similar to Cyclops ability but for a limited time.

Just throwing some ideas out, but combining the starved with the rich might finally give us some results.

P.S: Unfortunately, we might have to sacrifice Adam's legs and give Invis and Psy a few more high quality legendaries first.

Rivals devs having relapses after their favorite doesn't get a skin for 5 minutes.

Who could've predicted Sue/Psy/Luna all immediately got legendaries back to back. What a surprise.

It's just blatant favoritism and should be addressed at this point. I know there's probably going to be a billion other posts about it but come on.

Even ignoring the fact that the Egyptian themed heroes haven't gotten skins in the Egyptian themed Season. (Storm apparently is getting a swimsuit skin, most likely epic with no Vfx/Sfx)

Even if we ignore that fact, there's just so many other characters in the game besides the favorite 4. (Jeff surprisingly didn't get a skin, but Dino got Jeff by extension).

And I don't want to hear the leagues of simps who will say "they distribute the skins because they'll sell well".

Peni barely had any skins, had ONE skin that sold really well because they put some EFFORT into it, and now she consistently gets awesome skins.

Infinity hulk sold amazing, but of course it's an epic with nothing cool added to it. Same with the new gambit skin.

Anyways, I've said what I had to, give Jeff 10 more legendaries, nerf Iron man and Ultron about 6-7 more times, and upgrade Luna's skates to be Sonic the hedgehog speed levels.

Devil Dino is not as OP as everyone thinks, He's just an actually strong tank.

Flex player here, but mostly tank. (I main Peni, Groot, Strange. Occasionally Mag, Thor, Rogue, and Angela.)

Dino is not as OP as people usually think. Most people see top competitive players complaining and hop on the bandwagon pretty quick in my opinion. I've also seen high ranks complain a bit too, though not as much.

Dino is a very strong tank, no doubt about that.

I believe that alone is the reason why so many are complaining, including other tank mains.

For a long time, DPS and Supports have run rampant with OP characters, and have only gotten a slap on the wrist with a few exceptions, and are clearly the most popular roles compared to tanks.

The one time a tank was strong was prime Emma; she was actually op, but got nerfed to the ground, and with this shiny brand new tank actually feeling strong for once, even with obvious counters, it makes it difficult for people to adapt to it, thus leading to the complaints of dino being overtuned.

Now, there are some very small changes I think would help him not feel so oppressive to other tanks, but still feel very strong and force players to work as a team: compared to picking the counter character with a free win button.

Dino's Lazer gives bleed, slow, and knocks down fliers. Getting rid of the knockdown or the slow allows characters like Angela to not be completely dismantled by him. (Dino can still use his leap to grab fliers, but poke meta does more than enough to stop most fliers.)

Slightly Increasing the cool down on his leap/grab, will make it less annoying for tanks since Dino will be forced to save the grab for characters like DareD and Venom.

These changes will stop him from going down the path of Emma and now Tankpool, where they get nerfed into the floor and lose a lot of their identity as tanks.

TL;DR: Dino is not OP, a tank that actually feels like a tank, which people aren't used to.

Remove Knockdown or slow from lazers, increase grab cool down a bit so he doesn't bully tanks as much, and increase the cool down on his grab/leap so he has to use it more sparingly.
