When my albino mouse lifts up his head his skin looks grayish.

It doesn’t look irritated, and he’s not scratching it. Does anyone else’s mouse have gray skin?

The fancy mouse that I rescued from outside smells very bad.

The fancy mouse I rescued from outside smells terrible. He’s a male so I’m sure it’s scent marking and I’m sure he smells bad because there’s a female fancy mouse in an enclosure underneath him. The smell isn’t really the problem because it’s coming from his wheel (just means I have to soak it in warm water every other day). My real question is is it inhumane to keep them in the same room together?

Okay, I have a female mouse who is solo (not by my own choice. I’m 15, can’t drive and I have no money). I got her on a whim 5 months ago. I started with a 5 gallon because my dad told me that it was okay. He had owned mice before so I just assumed that he knew what he was doing. So we went home with one female mouse and a 5 gallon tank. By 12 o clock that night she was in a bin cage. Over the next few days I did some research and I realized that female mice need companions. I begged my dad for weeks for another mouse and he just got mader and mader until I just gave up. Now here’s what I’m going to try to do. If my dad ever takes me back to the pet store I’ll buy another mouse and say that I’m gonna keep them separate but secretly I’m gonna be bonding them until they’re such good friends that I’ll show my dad that they like each other and he’ll let me let them play together and then eventually he’ll let me put them together. He’s convinced that if I get another mouse and try to bond them that they’ll tear each other’s faces off. If I never get the chance to get another female mouse during her life to bond her with, I think I’ll feel bad for a long long time. She’s in a nice big bin cage and she has lots of toys and hides and food. Thanks for reading this. Also please don’t get mad at me. I know it was stupid to get a mouse with no research but I had just seen something very traumatic and I was crying and I saw this little darling mouse and I knew I had to have her.

Hi guys! I’ve been looking online for a while and I can’t find any good magnetic water bottle holders. I’m tired of drilling holes in the sides of my bin cages for this stuff. I’d like to be able to move the water bottle higher and lower easily and the only way I can think to do that is a magnetic water bottle holder

I rescued this little mouse from outside two days ago. His belly was so swollen that I thought he was a pregnant female mouse until I saw that he different equipment…
His name is Algernon
As I said before, I thought he was pregnant but when I saw his butt I realized that she was in fact a he. This was pretty concerning because I thought that maybe he had worms so I’ve been keeping an eye on his poop to make sure it was okay. No worms so far. The swelling in his belly has gone down and he seems very bright eyed, no more squinting or hunching from what I can see. Just a few minutes ago I looked over and saw him running on his wheel. I’m so happy! He’s eating and drinking water and I hope everything will continue to improve and he’ll live a nice long mousey life with me and my other mouse (don’t worry they won’t be near each other because one is female and one is male)

I was moving the fancy mouse I found outside into a new, more clear bin cage. They went to duck under something because they were nervous and I see balls. This means that this mouse is just very round around the middle. I haven’t seen any worms in his poop. I think he might just be bloated because he was abandoned outside and he probably ate something bad. The bloating has gone down a bit since yesterday. He’s eating and drinking water but seems to be in a bit of pain.

Hello friends! Yesterday I rescued a domesticated dumped mouse from outside of my house. She is pregnant and I’m going to keep 2 female mice and give the rest to a humane society. My question is how can I make her new 30x12 cage comfortable for her while she delivers. Should I decorate the bin like I decorate my other mouses? Lots of clutter or should I just keep it simple?

Found this baby outside. I really think it was sent by god. I have no idea where it came from but it somehow ended up outside my house and is now in my care. I already have a pet mouse so I have all of the supplies I need
