Hitting a wall

I’m feeling a little lost right now. I started this journey at around 196 and currently I’m at 183. I had been consistently losing between 1.5 and 2 pounds per week without starving myself or anything like that while still hitting my protein goals.

I was 183 three weeks ago, then last week I weighed myself and was still the same weight. Okay, weird. I’ve heard that sometimes there’s water retention or other factors, so I told myself I shouldn’t judge my progress based on just one week and that I’d see what happened the following week. I weighed myself again and I’m only 0.3 pounds lighter.

For reference, I’m eating around 1450 calories, so I should be losing at least 1.5 pounds per week, especially since that’s not even counting the gym or walking. So why was I able to lose weight consistently for the past couple of weeks and then suddenly nothing for the past two weeks?

I even started meal prepping. The only things I’ve changed in the past two weeks that I can think of are introducing ground beef, even though it’s 93% lean and about the same calories as the chicken meals, and drinking only one protein shake instead of two to compensate for the calorie difference as I lose weight.

Other than that, I’m completely lost. For reference I’m 6’0, workout 3 times as week and walk everywhere

Hotels in Trip.com

I’m booking my hotels in Trip.com but I have 2 questions regarding this. 1) I’m booking hotels that have a good amount of reviews but when I try to looks them up on Google Maps I cannot find them, is this because Google Maps is not used there thus the hotels don’t show up? I want to make sure I don’t run into a situation where I’m booking into a ghost hotel and I arrive and there’s nothing. 2) I heard some hotels don’t take foreigners, but I’m assuming since they are listed on the website it should be fine?

Touch operating purchase

I just realized there is a transaction called “ Touch operating purchase” for around $800 and I have no idea what is this. I’m looking online and the name is so generic I can’t find anything so I was wondering if anyone know what is this? Weirdest part it says ACH debit so it doesn’t seem like it was something purchased with my card

Best sleep tracker

So honestly, based on all I’ve seen, I think what I’m interested in the most is sleep since when it comes to steps and workouts and all that, I have that tracked pretty well since I’ve been doing it for years, but I’m curious mostly about sleep and I guess recovery. I don’t want any watches since I already have one, and I don’t want to trade my Rolex for a tracker. I think the wrist tracker seems to work the best with my lifestyle, so I was wondering which one has the best data? I’m thinking the Whoop because I like the way it looks or possibly the new Fitbit Air since it seems pretty lightweight since I wear business casual for work, so it can hide underneath my shirt.

Resuming application for citizenship

I just have a quick question. I heard about the pausing of reviews for different cases so I didn’t send my form to apply for citizenship as a green card holder but I checked on the website and I can’t find any information about resuming so I was wondering if I should just send it and let the process go it’s way or I’m supposed to wait for an announcement.

I just want to make sure before I buy my return flight tickets. I’m going to arrive to China from Japan at 3:30am on the 5th of October, I have until 23:59 on the 15th to exit China is my understanding, correct? I wasn’t sure if it’s the 14th or 15th. Regardless of time my flight would be around 5pm

So I have two options for this part of my travel. Either go the 8th and 9th or go on that weekend? I think the 8th makes sense since it’s technically the end of golden week but my friend said that I should go on the weekend since it’s farther away but I feel it’s either going to be the same amount of people or more so I want an opinion on this.

I’m arriving in Shanghai at 4 a.m. on the 5th of October, so I’ll be making most of my day from the very beginning and planning to stay 2 nights since I’ll have to come back the last night for my flight back home regardless. Having said that, I’m planning to go to Zhangjiajie, Furong, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Hangzhou, so while I can do all of them, most of them 2 days and one of them 1 day, I might be packing too much because I want to see everything.

So if I have to cut one (except the national park since that’s a non-negotiable ), or heck, for my first time since I’m going at the end of Golden Week (yes, yes, I know by the alignment of the stars that’s the only time I can go, maybe cut the national park, but regardless, which one should I cut so I can have more time in other places and relax more?
