Going from 600-1000mg per day to 0mg per day.

Thought some people may find this informative.

Currently on hour ~39 since my last sip of caffeine. I frequently downed 3-5 200mg energy drinks per day for years. Sometimes I would cut back to 1 for a few days but typically had at least 2 per day.

Recently I noticed I wasn’t feeling anything from caffeine so I decided to do a hard reset. I’m doing 7 days no caffeine.

I started to get headaches (primarily had pain / pressure behind the eyes) last night. They persisted until about 11 this morning. I felt very fatigued when I woke up. This persisted until about noon today. Currently no headaches and the fatigue seems to have faded.

Looking forward to slamming a Alani Nu Friday morning and crushing a back day. It’s going to be legendary 🥹

End of calorie deficit phase - starting slight surplus.

Hello all. Aimed to compete in an OCB show on September 12th but pulled out due to being behind in conditioning and posing needing serious work.

Deficit ended on Friday September 11th and I have started slight surplus. Will start a 10 week prep once I find a show here in Houston.

Aiming to compete mid march - early April.

Current split: Legs, Push, Pull, rest. 15k steps per day.

Current macros: 225g protein 70g fat 400g carbs

Currently I am 31 years old, 6’1”, and 205lbs morning weight.

Calves/legs are coming up nicely. Chest has come up slightly but still needs work to catchup.

From 0 miles - 6 miles

Ive done 2 1-mile runs in the past decade.

Glad to see hypertrophic weight training somewhat translates to running endurance.

Knees / calves gave up well before cardiovascular system did. Neato.

210lb BW + 70lb for 5 and change

I like using straps to focus on my back. It also allows me to deadhang at the end for a super deep stretch at the end.

I love pull-ups!

31M Squat PR 275lbs x 9

I didn’t program squat for more than a year because of minor scoliosis. I thought avoiding the movement was better than fixing the underlying issue.

I Have been doing squats again for a couple months and I love them. Focusing on good form / limiting ROM to just below parallel.
