I had six of these connected as part of a selectable battery charger. The switching frequencies between modules causes interference that leads to them squealing and overheating, usually to 300-330F but this one got a lot hotter. Not sure how hot exactly it got but I measured 500F right before disconnecting it.
I used the 4K LCD from this laptop to upgrade my main one. The conversion was very easy since the Wi-Fi antennas are already in the base the hinges are only held in by a few screws. It has a Core i7 11th gen and 16GB of soldered RAM.

I have a windows server 2025 PC and another running Debian 12. They both have serial ports and I have a physical modem. I'd like to be able to call the modem and get Internet over PPP. And tutorials on how I can do this? I would also consider using a program that works as a SIP endpoint although I'd rather use the real modem.
Took these out of a larger pack with other models of salvaged cells and discharged everything at equivalent of 1.3A per cell and these it got so hot the wrapping shrunk. They were rated 2000 mAh and produced in 2020, some tested as low as 550 mAh under a 1A/1A test cycle beforehand.
