What is your general SELL mark for sealed?

I think we can all agree that in the long term Sealed boxes, SLD, decks, everything is going up. Different pace, different starting point, different liquidity. So in theory, always hold, never sell, line goes up

But my question to you is this. When do you offload? I bought FIN CBBs at MSRP, sold a few at X2 profit, few at X3, keeping the rest for now. But I am very aware that percentage wise, them rising from 1400 EUR to 2100 EUR is "only" 50%. That money could go into a new CBB that is likely to X2 from MSRP in that time.

Is it a case of a limited budget? As in you have to sell what you have to be able to "reinvest" in new product? What if you haven't yet hit your budget ceiling? Do you have a set percentage at which you offload?

My general tactic has been to list everything sealed I get at 1pc slightly above market, then readjusting the price when it sells for the next piece. Doing this until I hit 0 profit/loss on the lot, then putting the rest to bed for the time being.

But I am very aware that is not optimal. I should have waited a few months before listing my EOE CBBs or any CBBs really, the danger of them going down is extremely low. I just don't like being in a loss position, even though I can afford it and can continue buying more stock.

What about you?

Latest meal rules in casinos (merit)

It has been some time since I last visited and I heard that the rules around drinks and admission to restaurants within Casinos have tightened. Understandably so, of course, they are not a charity.

Does anyone have experience from recent months about how much you have to lose (I mean bet, of course) to not have any issues with the restaurants?

Removing and reapplying Olinda stink counters

I understand that proliferating the stink counters doesn't do anything.

However, what if I target creature A to give it a stink counter. Then I use Hex Parasite to remove that counter. Then I target the creature A again to give it the counter again.

After that is done, would the creature stink for 2 or for 4?

In case you're thinking it gets better, I have 11k Life, 1100DPS bow, 190% inc Light, 200% fire overcap on Enmity's Embrace, Vaal Ice Shot Manyshot and it still takes 20s to kill a T16 boss.

And that is without any juice, basically just alch and go.

Yes, I still have upgrades to make. Lot's of incremental things like eldritch implicits, higher DPS bow and who knows what else. But at this point the my and merc's gear together is like 30 Div in today's prices and the struggle on single target is real (clear is acceptable).

It feels very much like a wander. Maybe if you can invest hundreds of divs, it will feel good but it's still ways away for me.

Anyone else using ART cards as textless variants? Which ones have you found?

It's a bit tricky to search for them, but I am sure many people are doing the same thing - using an art card as a proxy for the actual card. Maybe because they don't have the actual card, maybe because just having the full art makes for a cool textless variant. And as WotC have shown with [[Ocelot Pride]] and other SC promos, they don't care about the complexity of those.

Personally I love [[Jet Medallion]] from MH3 as an art card. Most people know what it does and it's simple enough to explain to those who don't.

Do you know anyone doing something like that? What are the staples you've seen played this way?

Oh, and curse you WotC, for making half of them horizontal!

Any very old Commanders with unique effects that feel forgotten for no good reason?

I've recently stumbled upon [[Rasputin Dreamweaver]]. Despite the effect being very unique, completely transforming the usual value-blink play style into rituals, it has a staggering 823 decks on EDHREC.

Perhaps the price is the issue? Perhaps people glance over the effect and fail to see it gives you 7 mana back immediately or whenever you need it?

That got me thinking what other forgotten-for-no-good-reason Legends there are. Do you have a deck based on one of those?

Do you think we will see another one mana blink spell at instant speed?

It has been 7 years since the last (and best) one mana blink instant was printed in MH1. Since then we have had a plethora of 2 mana options and recently a couple sorcery 1 mana options.

Is the effect now deemed too powerful at instant speed 1 mana?

What is your "always need a T1 play" deck? Not counting mana dorks.

I see a lot of decks going T1 pass, T2 signet/ramp, T3 MV4 Commander.

I love having different options and decisions to make from the first turn. To give you an idea of what I mean, my [[Breena]] deck always wants an evasive 1 drop on T1 followed ideally by a soft stax creature on T2. Similarly with [[Plagon]], I want to spend the first two turns playing creatures to enable the draw when I need it.

Are there any other decks, apart from the green MV3 Commander ones that need a dork on T1, and the "Flying men" decks like [[Yuriko]] or [[Edric, Spymaster]] that consistently want a T1 play?

For the sake of discussion, let's leave out cEDH where so much stuff can happen on turn 1 that the discussion is meaningless.

Favourite ETB = Draw Commanders?

I've found that the decks I have where the commander is not only a draw spell, but one that's hard to interact with, lead to more enjoyable games as you always have an option of refilling your hand if you have nothing better to do with cards you already have.

Do you have a Commander like that or do you prefer a more permanent engine piece when it comes to your Commander?

What's your most resilient aggro deck?

I find myself gravitating towards white+ lower MV aggro decks due to all the mass reanimation available such as [[raise the past]] that comes in handy after a board wipe.

Needing both a lot of cards and a lot of mana to quickly rebuild means I am usually struggling to recover in a regular fashion.

What is the aggro deck that you most enjoy playing and how do you get back into a game after a wipe or two?

Fun lesser known enchantment combos

I recently stumbled upon [[soul echo]]. Played fairly it can give you almost 2 turn cycles of time. First upkeep you choose an opponent, second upkeep you die.

Imagine my surprise when I learned it combos with [[delaying shield]]. Plus both combo with skipping your upkeep.

Now I want to make a deck with the premise being silly enchantments and artifacts that synergize together.

Can you think of anything in the same spirit?
