Nen is overrated

It’s a good power system, but overall, it’s really not that big of a deal. And honestly, all the stuff they explain and explain about it is basically only used at a very basic level.

Pretty much all the Nen abilities Gon learned with Killua on Greed Island were only used there. In Yorknew City or the Chimera Ant arc, there was basically none of that.

Besides, it has a huge problem, and that problem is Greed Island: how the fuck do you even create something like that? I mean, we know about Hatsu, Zetsu, Ko, Ren, etc., but what kind of ability lets you create something like that? Because Greed Island was basically “programmed” by Ging and several other people, but how? I mean, if Nen is such a top-tier power system, then explain to me how they managed to do all that with Nen while still following the rules that were explicitly established.

No theories. And it’s not just that case either. There’s the message Ging leaves for Gon, the space created by the Chimera Ant that fought Morel or whatever its name was, and, more recently, the Kakin family’s vessel that produces a Nen creature.

I’ll accept that those creatures can exist, sure, let’s say they can. But how the hell do you create a vessel like that?

Either Nen is overrated and has a gigantic problem, or we still haven’t been shown what Nen really is.

That’s just my analysis. I liked HxH, but I like having answers too ¯\(ツ)/¯
