Looking for advice on how to buy a house of your own ?

I am looking for advice on how can I buy a house of my own . I am renting a basement currently and looking at getting something within 4-5 years. What should be a person 's monthly income in order to afford mortgage? I have no plans to borrow money from parents nor I have any partner who can invest in it.

When you do buy what's the best option considering it's a single 28 yr old female planning on buying it? Would condo be better or house? Why does everyone in my office rave about houses being superior?

I don't have plans on sharing house or renting any rooms is it realistically possible? How did people who have their own houses do it? I am genuinely ready to give my 200% but I don't know what direction to go in an what my goals should be? And you were someone who had a regular 9-5 how did u afford it? What strategy did u use to save ?

Best place for a single woman to hang out for long weekend ?

I don't own a car and stay in midtown. Looking for some places in or nearby I can just hang out in during weekend. All my colleagues are married or have cars. Everyone is going out to blue mountain or Montreal or Peterborough. I feel like I am getting sad and left out. Any suggestions? Even if it's a fun yoga class or something just out of the blue should be good. I just don't wanna stay in my dark basement all week

I have a guy - friends who may join but he is a nerd and it's hard to convince him to go anywhere and he is giving interviews so I really don't have anyone else to hang out with.

Any places which will break the work week monotonous feeling should be ok

Also am I the only one going through these feelings? How do other singles cope?

So by default I am anxious. But when it comes to work it's really hard to not have anxiety. I have worked in startups and in big companies. No matter where I am , I am very anxious. I work in a bank and even though work is chill I cannot stop being anxious. I have a task which has been pending for a week . I cannot find a solution for it.

I spent my whole weekend worrying about it. I feel I am gonna never be able to live a non anxious life. My problems arent even big. My friends brother doesn't know where he ll live in a month due to war. He is way less anxious than I am . I get anxious to a point that I need to take days off due to panic attacks.

I have taken meds in past and I cannot or need not take em is what I was told. But how the heck do you feel sane? What do you do to keep anxiety low? Anybody who has been through this and successfully controlled it please help a sister

So my application is pretty straightforward. Single applicant. I am trying to do whole EE profile on my own. But the one thing which bothers me is the NOC code. I worked as a associate software dev , then Salesforce dev at home and as a data engineer in Canada (but tasks are more of a software developer) .

How do you find someone who can give you a very high level review and suggest if anything is missing / incorrect etc. Also someone who can clear out questions and give suggestions on noc code.. All consultants I know are charging 2k-3k. I cannot afford them right now.

How do you find someone who can do a review? And is really payya consultant 2-2.5 k worth it?
