So, lately i have been trying to eat more seafood, and Wild Ahi Yellowfin Tuna keeps coming up everywhere. I had it seared recently and honestly didn’t expect it to be that good. It was super clean flavor, meaty texture, and way less “fishy” than I thought it would taste.

Now I’m looking for good options to buy for home cooking. Mainly want something that’s:

• Wild-caught
• Good quality/fresh tasting
• Mercury tested
• Works well for searing, rice bowls, or poke
• Not ridiculously overpriced

For people who buy ahi tuna regularly:
Do you usually go for frozen-at-sea or fresh? And is there actually a noticeable difference in taste/texture between cheaper and premium options?

Would love some recommendations because I’m definitely trying to get into it more

We’re trying to sort out the children’s room and save a bit of space, but there are so many options online that it’s hard to know what’s actually decent.

Main thing for us is finding one that feels sturdy and safe for younger kids, without taking up too much room.
