Got an offer after 10 month search

My job search had so many twists & turns. There was one time where I made it to a 3rd round final interview and they rejected because I was overqualified. The job I got is a virtual sales position that isn’t in my area of study (I have a Bachelor’s in Math) but I’m still taking it for the time being because I’m so sick of job searching. Also, I job back in March at a call center but I was terminated after 1 month without explanation. I think I just wasn’t performing as well as they would have liked.

Job seekers, how long have you been looking?

I’ve been looking for a full-time role since March 2025 and I got one in March 2026, but I was sadly terminated after 1 month without explanation. I think it was performance issues. I’ve gotten a lot of interviews and final rounds but no offers. How long have you been looking? What fields? I’m applying for data analyst and call center roles and I got a Bachelor’s in Math in August 2025.

Wanted to share a dessert 😁

High protein dessert idea: Greek yogurt, protein powder, milk, fruit. I used vanilla protein and strawberries 🤤🤤

In Pakistani horror storytelling, the “churail” or “chudail” is a chilling figure drawn from South Asian folklore: she is often described as the spirit of a woman who died in childbirth, through abuse, or under other tragic circumstances, and she may appear beautiful at first before revealing her terrifying true form. In many stories, she haunts lonely roads, graveyards, and dark rural places, using fear and seduction to punish the men who wronged her, which gives these tales both a supernatural and social edge. Modern Pakistani writers and creators also use witch and churail stories to reflect deeper anxieties about patriarchy, violence, and how society labels independent women as dangerous.

In Pakistan, we call it Kheer and it’s eaten in the wider region as well. Used to hate it as a kid, but I love it now! 😋

Be honest… did I glow up or am I just seeing it differently? I used to feel really insecure about my appearance, but lately I have been feeling a lot better about myself and I want a real opinion. What do you think—glow up or no?
