season 5 episode 7. my first watch of the final season!

then it finally hit me that I’m always looking at the ceiling during class…and it’s the same color combo as shrines
I’ve been having issues with “locking on” to guardians almost the entire time i’ve been playing. sometimes it works, but consistently I will pull out my shield when a guardian is locked on to me and I suddenly won’t be facing the guardian and won’t be able to parry the laser beam. it will happen when I have a shield equipped with a one handed weapon, I’m generally facing the enemy, and there’s not another enemy nearby. I’m getting so frustrated! what am I doing wrong?
