Going to a Scarborough Shooting Stars game is a damn good time.

Don’t let the fact that it’s in the Pan Am Center steer you away, you’ll feel like you’re in Scarborough at the game, great vibe from beginning to end. I felt like I knew everyone there!

Tix are very affordable. The team is in first place in the CEBL. And frankly, the fact I got home in like 20 mins while thinking about all the Raptors games I’ve been to where I’m stuck in traffic and crowds for over an hour was a very pleasant bonus.

Just wondering if anyone else put in a request to get their lawn fixed because the winter plows dug it up while they were plowing the sidewalks earlier this year?

I had made a request on the Markham app early March to get my house on the list - didn’t even get a confirmation that the request was submitted.

I then called a couple weeks ago to get an update on this and the customer service rep at the city had no clue when the work would be done, she said it was on the operations team. So I said okay, who on the operations team can I speak to to understand when someone will come to fix my lawn and she said she didn’t know nor did they have any contact details. The best she could tell me was that she confirmed I was on the list and that it would be done “at some point”.

I’ve since escalated this to the customer support email as apparently their supervisors or whoever tf is in charge of that team monitors the email - haven’t received a response in 1.5 weeks to my email either.

Just curious if anyone else is waiting OR even better, actually got their lawn fixed already.
