Never actually showed the full scale of my colony, so here it is.
I guess the build is more function over aesthetics compared to the colonies of other i've seen here.
It's a bit messy around the edges, though about plugging the old mining strips with cheap limestone walls since limestone is common here
Based on an unrecorded experience while I was playing, just exaggerated a bit, the only thing that's accurate is the raid on a lightly defended spot (never thought they could) and the explosion.

That was the good news, the bad news is I have some stuff going on so I can't play as often for some times.

Since this morning I have tried my best but looks like my colony is lost after 7 in game years.
I'm not sure what really happened, every attempt to load my saves and autosaves just crashes the game.
Not sure if the save was too bloated (Unsure if Rimworld can have this issue) and my PC couldn't handle it anymore, it could be Milira Imperium update, it was just updated today, but removing it didn't change anything, haven't added any new mods in 2 weeks.
This is likely the end of this colony.

I don't play commitment, but sometimes I'll allow losses for the sake of narrative potential
or most commonly, I wasn't looking.
So, I have 2 mods that adds races, many may be familiar with them which is Wolfein and Milira, for a while now I tried to find out how to get children of those races naturally.
then i found out i lack the mods and they're sterile, lmao.
