Mario Kart World: Any way to only have lap tracks in random VS races?

I am aware that you can select tracks individually but I am very used to relaxing in single player with older Mario Karts by going to VS races and setting tracks to random, letting the game kinda make its own cup. However, it seems that selecting random tracks in World's VS settings will almost always be entirely intermission tracks as there's so many more of them in the track pool. Is there any way to just turn them off but still play random tracks?

TW: deadnaming; deadname read at college graduation

The card I was given to hand to the name reader bore some text. It had my legal deadname at the top in bold. Below it, my preferred and the pronunciation for it beside. At the bottom, my major. I thought it would be okay, that they'd see the phonetics and know which name was proper.

After I handed the lady the paper, she gave it an odd look for a moment. There was a strange tension in the few seconds before I had to step forward. Then over the speaker, clear as day, my deadname. Maybe if I had more backbone, I would've turned around and refused to continue until she corrected it, but I just chose to grit and bear it as to not ruin someone else's day.

One of the best days of my life, celebrating my life's accomplishments, was directly stepped on. I don't know what to do. I'm in Washington state, can I sue? Do I just have to live the rest of my life knowing I was robbed of such an important milestone? Please, I need advice

Please add an option to disable mashing

I just got SM2 after beating SM1 for the first time. Even though the controls took a second to acclimate to after being so used to the 2011 ones, this game is astonishingly great in the little time I've had it. Too bad they decided to ruin it with a stick mashing quick time event.

It's one thing to ask me to mash a button. Sure, I feel like I'm wearing out the buttons if I have to do it too often, but I can manage. I cannot abide by developers forcing us to waggle a joystick. Ignoring the extremely anti-consumer aspect of making us brutalize our joysticks when stickdrift is basically a certainty among first party controllers these days, I am physically incapable of producing that motion. The first time I got grabbed by a lictor and I saw the prompt to start swinging left and right, I immediately checked the accessibility options to turn that crap off only to be greeted with a pleasant FUCK YOU. Resident Evil managed to make the change in their most recent titles despite the waggle being deemed a sort of series staple, ensuring so many more people could enjoy those games; why can't this game do the exact same thing.
