Where do I get my AC request signal from?

Posted diragrams from two sources incase one is easier to read than the other. Im currently working on a L83 swap into a 94 chevy. I dont know if im tired, dumb, or both, but im having trouble identifying where to get my AC request from. I need to know what wire gets power when I press the AC button on the dash, so I can wire it to the new relay and pcm. I know its probably obvious but im seriously having trouble. Please help.

Point of No Return: I said I would do it.

Well everyone, ive let you down. Today i sold the golden 350. It became too much of a hassle to continue. To be honest I just couldnt bring myself to tear it apart again and start over. So this after noon I took that money and bought something else. $4100 got me a deal I think some of you would be proud of. 12K miles L83 and 6L90, with both the truck intake and car intake manifolds, long tube headers, Holly Power steering and Serpentine Belt kit, billet oil pan, billet motor mounts adapters, billet vacuum pump block off plate, standalone harness and computer, and all the paper work for the harness. I think I did pretty fucking good guys. Let me know what yall think. The red truck is my brothers 97. An absolute beast with over 400k miles. Damn near slammed on the ground and even more so with my engine and trans in the back.

Point Of No Return: Is this my problem?

Some of you may remember my truck, Point Of No Return. I built the engine, drove it for a week, and started to hear a slight knocking sound on start up. Only for about 1-2 seconds, then oil pressure builds and the noise goes away. Since then, the truck has been parked. Today I pulled the pan off to investigate. Rod caps are in the correct locations and tight. I dont feel any play in the bearings other than forward and backward play. Side to side play is zero. All my main caps are in the correct orientation and tight. Visually, I could only find one thing that concerns me. Theres scoring on the cylinder walls. I cant feel the lines with my finger nail, but i can definitely see them. There is scoring on multiple cylinders, pissibly all of them. Whats going on here? Is it normal? Is this what im looking for? This engine has approx 100 miles since the build. Probably less. What do you think?

I have an interview at a Chevrolet Dealership tonight.

Hey so like the post says, ive got an interview tonight for a technician position. Ive been a mechanic for about 5ish years now so ive got some experience but not a ton. All in Mom and Pop shops. Im currently the main tech in my shop but thats not saying much if youve seen our guys. Ive been told i would do well in a dealer environment. Anything I should know before I go in for the interview? Any questions I should ask or things I should want to know about? It'll be my first dealership job so im just looking for some advice before I go in blind. Thank you!

Update: Thanks for all the input everyone. Too many comments to reply to everyone. I was very honest about myself and my abilities, and very much did not oversell myself. I do not want them to expect the world from me when i only have one ASE. I know alot but only compared to the kids at my current job. They apparently dont actually have a spot open for a tech right now, but may have one soon. They want to start me as a lube tech and see how things go from there. Im okay with that, as i dont have dealer experienceand will have a lot of learning to do. But i did specify that im not comfortableworking for the same pay as the younger kids doing oil changes. I didnt harp on it but they were quick to say that theres "definitely wiggle room with that number". They also told me multiple times that they want to get me in there. I was supposed to get a call back today to discuss a start date and finalize my pay rate but haven't heard back yet. Fingers crossed.

Point Of No Return: It was fun while it lasted

I went ahead and changed the oil after hearing some quiet knocking noise on start up. The noise didnt go away, which was kind of expected. So today I pulled the pan off to take a look. Pics of what I found. Obviously im pretty distraught about it, but it is what it is. Aside from the obvious forbidden glitter all in the pan, I didnt see much. Some slight scoring on the number 1 cylinder walls, but not bad enough to make me think thats the only issue. Theres a bearing somewhere that ate itself alive. Ill probably tear it back down and try to figure out whats going on, but for today im just going to have a drink.

Point Of No Return: Help!

Alright so ive driven the truck about 150 miles so far. This morning when I started the truck, I heard a deep knocking sound for about 1-2 seconds. Then it goes away as soon as oil pressure builds. The frequency of the knock sounds like its 1 piston. Not multiple. I just started it again a few minutes ago and same thing. Deep sounding knock for about 1 second then it goes away. When cold I have well over 40 psi of oil pressure. When hot and idling, I have maybe 15psi. While driving I alway have about 40 psi. Currently running straight 30w break in oil. What do you guys think I should do? Rip it back out and start looking for a problem? Possible in the main bearings or rod bearings? Or go ahead and do my oil change and fill it with some thicker oil to see what happens? What kind of oil should I use? Let me know what you guys think because im pretty scared I know whats coming.

Point of No Return: It Drives! But...

Okay so the project is pretty much wrapped up. Heres a collection of photos from the last 7 months till today. Ive driven the truck about 60 miles this weekend and had almost no issues! I did find a plug on the radiator leaking, my intake gasket leaking coolant, and my exhaust flange leaking, but thats it. I was able to reseal the plug on the radiator, retorqued the intake manifold to stop leaking, and retorqued my headers and flanges to fix the exhaust leak. Also the upper rad hose is touching the alternator and belt. I imagine thats because i dont have the fan shroud anymore? I have a bungie cord around it right now to hold it but if you guys have better ideas let me know! Aside from that, the truck sounds and runs absolutely great and I couldnt be happier. I post a short video of the truck earlier so go check that out if your interested. Next is to figure out why my speedometer doesnt work, which im sure will be a big can of worms to figure out. The speed sensor (or what i think is a speed sensor) at the rear of the transmission was replaced just before I bought the truck and apparently that didnt fix it. If anyone has any experience with that issue please comment! My odometer hasnt worked since i bought it either. Im thinking of taking it apart and making the numbers read 8008135. After all that, comes suspension and brakes, because this thing squeaks and clanks at every bump. Thanks for all the help and advise from everyone here and over at r/GMT400 throughout this project and look forward to more from this truck. Its not over yet!

Point of No Return: Radiator Installled

I got the radiator installed today. Trimmed about 1 inch off the bottom of the core support and drilled holes to mount new (larger) rubber mounts. Fits like stock. Took the radiator mounts off my 95 model and drilled holes for the same purpose. Looks stock. Looks good! I also mounted the coolant reservoir with a custom bracket made out of more of that trusty street sign. Also the original hoses fit perfect. Honestly they fit better now than they did with the original radiator. Oh and I redid the wires going to the battery, starter, and alternator. I found the starter wires were cut and someone had just twisted them back together and covered in electrical tape. Fixed them properly and the truck starts way better now. Who would've thought?

Point of No Return: It's Alive!

I towed the truck up to the shop today. Got a few last minute things bolted up and realized I pretty much have everything needed to start the motor. I ran a piece of hose to connect the two trans lines so it wouldn't dump fluid out. Slapped a jump box in place of the battery and gave it a shot. It fired up immediately! I only let it run for about 10 seconds at a time but I was just happy to see that all these months of work may have payed off. Really excited to get the rest done and be driving this thing. Also sorry for the bad audio. I didnt think about it at the time but I had shop fans running, and the headers weren't bolted to the rest of the exhaust. I just had to try starting it though. Seemed to sound pretty good and I didnt hear any ticking or other odd noises. What do you guys think?

Point of No Return update: Wiring

Got started on the wiring harness today. Man there is a lot of dirt trapped in those old crusty looms. Deloomed most of the upper harness and got to work repairing crumbled wires, broken wires, broken plugs, ect. Covered everything in black braided split loom. I think its turning out nice! Anyone know where I can find a decent explanation of where all the ground wires go? Its been a long time since I pulled the engine and I need a refresher. Thanks!

Point of No Return update

Got the engine and transmission installed today. Sorry for the bad pics. It was very hot today and I didnt take many. So here's some my wife took! New fuel lines installed and also made an EGR block off plate from and old street sign. Does anyone know how much of the emissions related crap i can delete/plug without it effecting how the truck runs? I want to get rid of absolutely everything that isn't necessary. Working on the wiring next. Maybe get it running tomorrow? Stay tuned to find out. More pics tomorrow.

Point of No Return. Tomorrow is the day!

Wish me luck. Cleaning up the harness and installing the engine and transmission tomorrow.

Update on project "Point of No Return"

94 1500. Started off just needing a transmission and here i am. I fell into the "while im here i might as well" hole and now im basically building a new truck. The motor leaked out of every seam and ran like crap. First time rebuilding an engine. Learning a lot along the way (mostly about how little i know about engine building) and trying to not skip anything. Motor has been bored .30 over and new pistons, lifters, polished cam and new crank and timing chain. Aside from that its bone stock. Just trying to build it back to be the best that stock can be since I dont really have the money to build something better and this is what ive got. This is going to be my daily driver when its done so im hoping it starts up and runs better than when I parked it. I have bought a TON of blue and black braided wire loom and butt connectors also because now im considering finding a way to tuck the wiring harness as much as possible but thats going to be a whole can of worms. Let me know if anyone has any advice, opinions, or ideas on what to do next. Im also needing a good way to mount the new radiator. It fits in the core support but I need ideas on mounting it at the top and what to use for new hoses since ill need longer ones. Just keep in mind im on a paycheck to paycheck type of budget. Pics of before and after and im sure you can tell which are which.

I have a coworker who will sell this torque converter to me for cheap. Brand new in the box. Can anyone here tell if it will work in a 1994 4l60e? I know the transmission is one of those years that aren't interchangeable, but I dont know if the torque converter is interchangeable. Thank you!
