Bought a vintage coach and want to restore it a bit

So I’ve been looking into videos on how to restore bags and to be honest the bag i bought looks good condition on the pictures but still i would like to clean and condition it as its vintage. I added a horse hair brush, saddle soap, and leather cpr to my amazon and was just about to buy but now i hear that saddle soap can be drying because the ph is too high? One girl said that but I’ve seen alot of people use it so I’m not sure now would it be good? Also is leather cpr that good? Ive heard people buy it for cheap at stores but I’m from the uk and dint have time to go from store to store looking so if leather cpr is really that good then ok ill pay £23 but if theres a cheaper alternative with same or better quality please let me know
