I'm planning to make a proper build but this took a few minutes to cobble together from old parts and offcuts. Everything is modular so there's endless combinations to try.

I'm a prosthetist and there's so many scrap or offcut parts at work that would be perfect for lightsabers.

I feel like this will be a good balance of challenging, realistic enough to be able to make, and still be a really clean cool design.

The digital timer on my oven will randomly jump chunks of time when trying to set it. There is no particular time it will jump from or to each time and the speed which you turn the dial has no impact on if, when, or how often it does it. I don't understand how that sort of thing could accidentally happen, it feels like some disgruntled worker in the whirlpool factory intentionally would have had to program the dial to jump randomly just to fuck with people.

This oven also requires the timer to be active to function, you can't just set the temp and off it goes.

I have resorted to just putting on more time than I need and using a timer on my phone, less time than you need and the oven stops heating when the timer runs out. A dumb analogue timer wouldn't pull this shit 🥲
