Security warning for the wrong app

I downloaded an older version of the app so I could use free versions again that used to be free so I cloned the App on my phone and installed it.

Surprisingly I got a "This version of the App is insecure" warning which I can't dismiss so I uninstalled it... Just so you know the App is not modded I only cloned it with an app cloner.

Then I went back to the official version from the Play Store and all of a sudden it now tells me that's insecure as well and I need to download it from the official Play Store even though that's literally where I downloaded it.

I have like 100 projects on there so I don't want to reinstall the App. I don't really use the app anymore for actual content but I still want to open my projects at least or use it.

Thanks Bytedance

Whoever designed this needs to be fired

Google recently added a new "Ask AI" button. Not only is it ridiculous but it doesn't minimize when you're scrolling, it looks completely out of place and it looks like it was designed by someone that never designed something before.

Is there still no way to turn off automatic updates for the Dish?

I'm hosting things on my raspberry pi 5 and I noticed the router frequently restarts at 4 am which is annoying because the stuff I'm hosting keeps going down for 3 minutes every week.

Is there no way to disable automatic reboots or updates? Do I need to buy a new router or will that not fix the issue? Unfortunately I can't use Ethernet at the moment.

Why are the updates so frequent? Once every month would be fine I guess but multiple times a week?

Banned account for no reason and how I managed to bypass Facebooks pathetic system

I would like to share how pathetic Facebook really is and why you should never use them.

First of all, they banned an account for bot activity for no reason and instead of a captcha to solve they wanted us to send a Selfie which is stored on their servers for 30 days... There was also the option to pick an entire year where they use your face to train their AI scanning (obviously some people are gonna missclick).

Instead of being an absolute idiot and giving Meta what they want to train their AI I helped them do it the way you should do it.

Luckily if you visit the website on a phone you do not need to do a video scan and you can submit any photo you want on your device and you can use anything by slightly editing it just do not use an AI generated photo.

After submitting, I was actually pretty scared because they said they are reviewing it (in reality it's a slow AI) and if I would have failed they will suspend it forever with no way to appeal... So if you accidentally submitted a blurry picture then say goodbye to your account.

Surely a random image from the internet with slight editing will be detected? But guess what... it worked! 🤣

Fuck you Meta and as soon as Signal does not require a phone number I will never use your Messenger again especially after you spied on people's browser and removed 2 of my accounts with no email or any sort of explanation.

PS: The "download your data" feature is completely broken on mobile and you can only download in desktop view... Don't try to contact their support because it's just an AI and you also can't contact them if you're banned (genius).

Signal without phone number?

Skip this if you don't care about why I want to switch

I've been using Facebook Messenger for years and I hate it and the only reason I used it is because everyone else uses it.

Now someone in my family got banned for bot activity and to prove they aren't a bot all they need to do is send a selfie to Mark Zuckerberg which gets deleted after 30 days, there's also an optional option to let them store it encrypted for 1 year for AI training!

The problem

Anyways now I think it's the perfect time to switch... The only deal breaker is the phone verification part because I don't have a phone number (someone else is using it) and some others also don't have a phone number.

Will phone numbers stay a requirement or are there other verification methods planned or already existing?
