Random BGG user offered $60 for my copy of POK that I never listed for sale

So I recently got a message from a random guy asking if I'd sell him my copy of POK.

I know some people are desperate to find it, given it's out of print, and I normally wouldn't blame anyone for trying, but not only was my copy not listed for sale, but he's also offering a whopping... $60 for it.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't planning on selling it in the first place, and even if I were, I don't expect anyone to pay those insane eBay reseller prices, but come on, man, at least offer MSRP. Did anyone else get this message?

Should I get Chapter 2 or Chapter 1?

I've been playing a lot of AH online over the past few months and have really enjoyed it, so I've been meaning to get a physical copy of the game; however, I don't know where to start. I know most would recommend just starting from Chapter 2 as a new player, but for reasons I'll get into, I'm not sure if that's the right play, so I'm looking for advice.

My biggest worry is the lack of content currently available, given it's a fairly new product and only has the Core Set and the recently released scenario. Is there enough replayability in it that I won't get bored after a few plays? Given all the content was available in the online mod, I never had this issue before and am worried I'll experience it given the lack of content in Ch2.

My second issue is the reception to Chapter 2, since it seemed to be mixed when it came out due to things like the misprints, shorter campaigns, and lack of quality control. I'm curious to see if people's opinions have changed since then, especially now that more content has been released for it.

Would love to hear what people think I should do. Would it be better to just start with Chapter 2 or get a small bundle of Chapter 1 content (probably the Core + 1 or 2 Campaigns)?

War Eternal or Small Boxes for additional content?

I have a massive collection of Aeon’s End but am looking for more. I own the following big boxes: New Age, Outcasts, Past & Future, and The Descent. For small boxes, I have Wilds, Ancients, Shattered Dreams, Return to Gravehold, Southern Village, and Ruins.

I finally finished playing through all the Nemeses I have and need help deciding what to get next.

My current options are either getting War Eternal or 3 small boxes. All the small boxes except the ones from The Descent are available for me on Amazon so any suggestions from that pool works.

Were there any specific small boxes that stuck out to you that you would recommend or any you’d suggest I avoid? Or would I be better off just getting War Eternal?

Looking for someone willing to teach me TI4 online

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a copy of TI4 with all the expansions and am planning to host the game for my board game group in 2 weeks. I really want them to have a great first experience with the game since I've only heard great things about it, plus, the competitiveness, politics, and backstabbing seem like a perfect fit in my group.

To prepare, I watched Cardboard Crash Course's 2-hour tutorial on the game, and although it helped me learn about the game and understand its flow better, watching a video and playing it are entirely different experiences. So I was wondering if there's a group (or even just an individual) out there that would be willing to play the game with me so I can actually learn the game.

As I mentioned previously, I really want this game to be a hit in my group, and I don't want to have to check in with the rulebook every time they have a minor clarification, as that just completely ruins the flow of the game. I have Tabletop Simulator and have the mod installed already, but am open to other platforms since I know TI4 is also available on sites like Tabletop Playground.
