blocking AI posts

Hi I keep seeing posts that are obvious AI. I don't not want these redditors in my feed. If I go in to their profile and try to block I keep getting this message You can't block XXXXXXfor 24 hours after unblocking them. I NEVER unblocked them I've neve seen any of their stuff and I merely opened the post from a community I do follow only to see it was AI generated. Can this be fixed so we can block these users? I have no use for AI posts or people who cut and paste from AI.

Remember when.......

Remember when the Boston Phoenix was the "it" publication? Remember the Phoenix Personals? I had a major trip down memory lane today. Why is that in the late 90's into the early 2000 era, dating in Boston via the Boston Phoenix personals was so damn much fun and stimulating? Remember..... no pics, no algorithms, no swiping, no "likes", etc. Just your intro blurb and your phone mailbox! IMHO The personal ads were legendary for that exact reason. They were low-pressure, text-focused, and relied on wit and personality rather than curated photos or algorithms. And yet somehow the whole experience was fabulous! Cool guys, great dates, no head games, etc. I keep reading about how contemporary dating apps are just sooo awful for so many people. I'm just curious, does anyone here remember the Boston Phoenix personals? Do you have the same fond memories as me? Good times, great era-indeed
