So I messed up and registered for EBC2018 instead of EBC2164 (the mandatory one) for the first period of my second year. I was originally considering a different specialization at the time of registration, decided against it, but forgot to switch my registration back.

I know there's usually a "if you forget to register, tough luck" policy, but this is more of a "registered for the wrong thing" situation rather than forgetting entirely. Has anyone here dealt with something similar? Did you manage to get it corrected through student services, or is this basically a lost cause once the deadline passes?
