How competitive is the ABSN program? I understand there are multiple locations, but I wasn’t sure of how many students were accepted out of the people who applied. If anyone has been accepted or completed the program can you go into detail about your resume and what the program looks like?

Hi! I applied for the spring 2027 admission for the ABSN programs. I put Abilene, Lubbock, Austin, and San Antonio campuses. I am wondering which of them has the best chance of getting accepted?

I graduated suma cum laude this past May with a batchlor in health sciences. I also have a pretty high science GPA. The only pre req I have left is microbiology and I am taking it for the second quarter of the semester.

I played a D1 sport all 4 years of my college career, and I am wondering if that holds any weight when admissions is sorting through applications?

I am really just trying to gauge my chances of getting accepted, and when I will find out because I am very interested in the program.

If someone has completed the program can you break down the CNA license steps and what the admissions process looks like. Thank you😊
