feels like trisha and tana are gonna fall off soon

Let me preface this by saying i LOVE both of them. i don’t want to hate on either of them, but it feels like trisha is starting to get fed up w tana’s bs. especially when she told the story ab their vegas show.

on the most recent just trish it seemed like trish was a little hurt by what tana and paige said about influencers starting music careers. and i feel like in general when tana comes up on just trish oscar seems like he doesn’t like her but is trying not to show it and look neutral or like he likes her… maybe im over reading tho.

I also feel bad saying this bc i really hold space for her as someone who grew up in a similar household with similar parents, i CANT STAND how repetitive and wannabe philosopher she is. I get that her growth and learning is delayed because she wasn’t taught a lot of things and is an addict (i am as well and didn’t learn a lot in my childhood) but holy shit. I’m glad she’s alcohol free and is trying to grow but i can’t stand people that continuously talk about their growth when it isn’t very apparent. she talks more about it instead of just showing her growth…. it’s so annoying but i feel conflicted thinking this bc i grew up watching her and dont hate her but shes become increasingly more annoying recently😭😭

also the NLL always being super old… we all know that’s tana. trisha wouldn’t do that i feel like considering the amount of episodes and length of just trish that comes out relevant and new every week plus all her other side quests. i had the NLL patreon for a while but canceled because they NEVER posted and it wasn’t worth it at all … and this weeks episode is like 2 months old :/ Idk i just feel like tana is so hard to listen to now. irks me how she says the same things over and over, misuses words to sound smarter and still hasn’t changed her habit of posting super late.

so glad i found this sub

this subreddit has been so comforting and reassuring to me. i’m an alcoholic. this year it spiraled out of control and led to many issues and i told my family about it. my dad is an addict and his mother was an alcoholic. he recovered through AA and NA. he and my sister are extremely religious and i was raised religious, but very young i realized i didn’t believe in anything really and never understood it.

i was raised catholic by my mom and grandma. we are hispanic, so my moms side is very religious but luckily my mom doesn’t shove it down my throat and can see other perspectives. my dad is white and christian. my beliefs are the complete opposite of his.

anyway, i finally opened up to my dad about being an alcoholic because i know he’s experienced it. he was nice, but shamed me when i said ive gone to a handful of AA meetings but prefer therapy. he has always shoved god down my throat but it was much more aggressively after he learned about my addition. he keeps saying secular therapy is useless and will never work and i need god and AA. he doesn’t know that im not religious currently, but im guessing he has a feeling. in highschool i told him i didn’t believe in god and he freaked out, so i never mentioned it again.

flash forward to now, im 23, an alcoholic and have been in therapy for as long as i can remember, i am medicated (which has helped my depression tremendously) and have attended a number of different AA meetings looking for community and guidance. i knew 12 step programs had a religious aspect, and i was okay with that and figured maybe i will just disagree with a few things said here and there in my head. holy shit though. all i’ve experienced in AA is nonstop talk about handing your life over to god etc. today in a meeting someone said “i miraculously recovered from addiction because i handed my life over to god” and all i could think was no!! that was you and your hard work! it wasn’t a miracle, it was you putting in the effort to recover from addiction. and a disclaimer: i do not judge or look down on people who are religious, i just dont personally believe in religion.

my sister is like my dad, very conservative and religious. i love her so much, but we’ve clashed and fallen off many times because of this. i get upset because it is most of the time her getting so annoyed that she stops talking to me for a period of time. im okay with us having differing beliefs because shes my sister and we’re very close. my dad though, i dislike him a lot more bc we never had a relationship. i get frustrated because with her and my dad, it’s their way or the highway.

I told them i was starting a different antidepressant. they both started blowing up my phone saying i needed rehab. not for the alcohol, but because im addicted to medications ive been prescribed.

I have never abused my medications. I am on zoloft, auvelity, and vyvanse. I have never abused any medication. i understand the doubts and hesitation with stimulant ADHD medication, but i have been on vyvanse for two years and my life became exponentially better after starting it and finally having a clear head and being able to do productive things.

my dad asks me about AA everyday. he keeps shoving it down my throat and saying ill never get sober if i don’t go to AA. my sister is very straight edge, never tried a drug besides weed one time, and has maybe one drink a year literally. there is nothing wrong with that!! but after my dad telling her about how i need AA or ill die basically, she is now doing the same to me.

Just wanted to rant and say idk how it took me so long to figure out there is a community of people who recover from addiction without the 12 step program. I’ve been reading posts on here all day and have related to so many!!

First time borrower so i know i’m asking for a lot!! Any amount loan helps!!

I am 23 years old, in college. I pay my own tuition and rent, so things are tight for me right now. Looking for a loan of $50 (or any lower amount still helps a lot) to buy groceries & to help get some maintenance done on my car since i’m short on that.

I can provide ID verification, proof of income, and proof of being a student at university!
