Hi! Just wanted to get some objective info on the Mid/Late 2026 preferred Android Front End. Please feel free to drop a comment about your favorite or why you now avoid one that you’ve tried.
Would super appreciate it. I have it running but I feel like I could bet getting a bit more out of it.
Thank you for any advice! The person I saw was running it on Gamehub and the interface is to different for me to know how to replicate it. Installed Microsoft C++ and now I can at least boot the game but I’m only getting like 15fps
I tend to switch devices often, gift old ones or sell to buy new ones, and I end up dropping a lot of games I start because I didn’t take the time to carry over my save files or wasn’t sure how to transfer from one OS to another. I haven’t checked much on this recently but I remember hearing about projects people were working on last Fall. Any news or projects to keep an eye on?
The Brick hammer costs 20-30 dollars more right now, but it has a more premium build and I’m wondering if that translates to more longevity. Also the screen is better, but it’s also smaller. Lastly, the OS experience. On the brick I’d use Crossmix and on Miyoo id use OnionOs. Which do you like more? Any reason to get both?
On the website I would’ve spent 513 including tax and shipping so I did technically save around 33 dollars but I don’t feel like I got a great deal or anything despite the “75 dollar” coupon. I don’t even know when this Odin 3 from Ali is shipping but I don’t imagine the price hike being less than 50-100 bucks plus taxes so it felt like a now or never thing at this point. What do ya’ll think? What did you pay for this device? And for those who have it, is it worth it?
The ODIN 3 techinically launched at the very end of December although few people had it in hand before January. And the Konkr Pocket Fit 8 elite was taking pre-orders in October although they shipped very late and delayed several times. Besides these 2, are there any other 8 elite options on the market right now or that have at least been announced? I know there’s issues with sourcing components right now but since I haven’t been keeping a close eye on the subreddit or YouTube, I’m wondering if I missed something. We really went from a new device announced every other week to like…none for months at a time.
But I really don’t see myself living in the U.S. long term. Does a router vpn seem like a reliable solution? They require use of a company computer. Is there any solution?
