I’m sure you’ve all seen the court ruling, but for those who don’t know, the Appeals Court of Ontario ruled that Ontario can indeed rip out Toronto’s bike lanes.

What can we do? Is there any organized protests I can attend? It’s sickening seeing critical infrastructure being ripped out for the province’s populist ideals.

Overall, I was much happier with this experience than yesterday’s on Line 6 Finch. I’ve been on Eglinton almost every month since it opened to commute to school between Mount Dennis and Cedarvale, and I can say that it has definitely improved in terms of speed and headways. Even though the surface section was significantly slower, it still was typically a faster experience than Line 6.

Let me know your thoughts! I might give this experiment a go on the ROW streetcars.

It’s better than the 55 minutes on opening day, but I really do hope the city implements aggressive TSP on Line 5, 6, and the streetcars. I’ll probably give Line 5 and the other streetcars a go soon.
