ctvnews.caStub Hub Strung me along for 24 hours before an event saying new tickets would be sent after they facilitated a scam sale. They cancelled their guarantee right before the event started.
4 of 7 stub hub agents I had the pain of dealing with for 24 hours before the event told me new tickets were on the way and to wait. First I was told they would be arriving the day of the event at 8am then by 12pm then in 1 hour before, then in 30 minutes. The event started at 2:30. At 1:50 I was put on hold for 20 minutes. I was then sent a link by the customer service representative to select new tickets. The link had no tickets available but when checking through a regular internet browser Stub Hub was in fact still selling tickets for this event. The event started, they did not replace the tickets and refused to do anything but offer me a refund. A manager or supervisor never got back to me and the one “supervisor” “Elaine” that I was transferred to kept repeating a script instead of answering any questions I had. Tickets were available for 2 day up to the event. At some points cheaper tickets were available to purchase and Stub Hub said they couldn’t do anything because it was being escalated already and in the process. Deleted the app and learned my lesson. Will never use Stub Hub again. All the customer service representatives say the same lines and don’t actually do anything when it comes to solving any issues. They also facilitate scammers selling fake tickets. Whats the point..
Stub Hub facilitated a scam, told me a replacement ticket for EI was on the way for the last 24 hours. Now they aren’t honouring that.
What should I do now?
Got sent a boarding pass instead of EI ticket from Stub Hub
First purchase off Stub Hub. The person (Corinna Maida) sent me a 1 day (Saturday ticket) when I purchased a 2 day. Today I received an e-mail from Stub Hub saying my ticket is ready. It was a boarding pass for a flight in the Dominican Republic. Spoke to a live agent on Stub Hub. They said they escalated it and to wait for an e-mail. Does anyone have any experience as to what happens next? I requested a replacement ticket.
