I’m not the biggest fan of their music because it’s just not my favorite genre, but I have seen them live at festivals and always make a point to watch them. Shane sounds amazing live, the entire band does.
Every time I see them I find myself thinking they put every other band at the festival to shame. So many bands comparable to them have been touring for decades and they sound terrible live and it’s just excused, but Silverstein sounds amazing every single time.
They’re the one OG band who really seems like they’re in this for the love of the game and music. No bad allegations. No addictions. No major controversy. I really have so much respect for them as musicians, especially in this scene. I just had to put it somewhere.

I just want to provide some clarification and be fully transparent about the “Void doxxing” situation. These private messages are being shared completely out of context and have been heavily edited to falsely make it look like a doxxing attempt.
I didn’t dox Void. By definition, doxxing is publicly publicizing someone’s identifying information with the intent of harassment. Not only did I not publicly expose his information, I also didn’t release anything that could personally identify Void. I provided a generic nickname for his first name, the state he lives in, and the type of business he owns in a private group chat that was never intended to be made public. That doesn’t identify any specific individual nor does it point to any specific individual. Yes they are details about Void, but they don’t identify him specifically.
A first name, state, and job title are general facts, not private identifying information.
I didn’t use secret, malicious, or unethical search methods. This began with a public document Void himself posted back in 2024, which I looked up with a standard Google search.
I also attached my full conversation with Void so people can see I wasn’t threatening to dox him or anything along those lines. I also was intending on keeping this conversation private but Snail posted a portion of it.
I completely understand why some people are put off by this and I respect that opinion, just felt it was important to clear things up a bit since I’m seeing multiple posts about it.
Why does a 30 year old man find it appropriate to store drawings of CSAM? It was reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited children by Spark, the person who made the document.
It also seems Void sent Duck Adam, a 17 year old, Rox’s graphic drawings instead of reporting them.
Would any other parents involved be willing to help me write a formal document to report Void and Joji to NCMEC? They used their platforms to expose minors to graphic adult content and encourage minors to engage in peer pressuring regarding adult topics. Given the nature of the conversations, potential for new victims, and the fact this doesn’t seem to be dying down soon, I do think the parents who are alarmed by the behavior of the adults involved are responsible for reporting to the authorities somehow.
Especially with this added detail that Void has a collection of Rox’s drawings.
Document potentially contains graphic material, advised 18+ eyes although I’m not the author and haven’t had a chance to fully read it myself.
The author had contact with Duck Adam, Joji, Void, and others involved in the situation.

First screenshot is from his 2024 testimony on Rox, he states he’s been friends with Qwel for 4 years. Meaning their discord friendship started in 2020, during lockdown, when Qwel was only 15/16.
Second screenshot is from his 2026 statement on Qwel. While six years is technically “4+ years”, it’s also misleading and makes it seem their friendship started when she was an adult or almost an adult.
The reality is this is a grown man being vindictive towards a woman who cut him off once she reached adulthood.

More of them refusing to take any accountability, blame shifting, trying to discredit people who disagree by saying they’re “arguing in bad faith”, and doubling down on their behavior

Probably one of Joji’s most suspicious tweets yet and truly shows their intentions imo, even if it wasn’t posted by them directly but shared by them. What’s the benefit of publicly harassing someone instead of going the legal route?
Getting the law involved could have given them true justice if they were victims, and a chance for their voices to be heard where it actually matters. It doesn’t rely on slandering someone’s reputation or mob mentality. It allows the situation to play out in a neutral setting from professional unbiased observers.
Public callouts result in an internet dogpile of death threats, doxxing, public humiliation, harassment of employees who had no involvement, children peer pressuring each other to takes side in an adult conflict, c&ds, and an emotionally distressed fanbase.
Also, the irony in a trans person calling for a boycott on X is kind of laughable. Kids are supposed to boycott a Roblox game on their behalf but they can’t boycott X on behalf of their own community? I don’t even use X for that reason, and because Grok. It’s all ridiculous.

The document's focus on collecting stories from minors and seeking other victims, lead by ex-employees of BCS, raises serious morality issues, such as potentially re-traumatizing young victims and normalizing close contact with minors and adults who are strangers to them online. It encourages minors to reach out directly to them instead of law enforcement or their parents. While I don’t doubt the authors were hurt or didn’t experience trauma of their own, this method of adults who worked for BCS targeting a primarily minor audience with highly emotional content raises concerns for the welfare of the minors involved. It’s also predatory for them to use their previous position at BCS to build trust with a minor fanbase who doesn’t know them outside their internet persona. Children should not be reaching out to people that they only know as Joji or Void from Roblox.
The adults involved (Joji 25, Snail 28, Void 29) should immediately direct minors reporting harm by Qwel or Rox to law enforcement or their parents rather than collecting and publishing a statement themselves.
ETA: it’s also inappropriate for Snail, an adult involved in these serious allegations, to be interacting with the DW community on Reddit. This creates toxic parasocial dynamics for a fanbase that is filled with minors.
ETA again - The comments are just proving my points. I bet majority of you are very young or minors, and you’re adamantly defending and feel bad for adults you have 0 connection to. You don’t even know their names outside of some Internet persona they’ve created for you guys to see, yet a lot of you feel personally responsible for this situation in some way.
The whole thing is unfolding in front of a young community’s eyes with no oversight. I bet most parents have no idea that their children are able to have direct contact with adults involved that this drama, and it’s not just a community of players discussing this among themselves.
Friendly reminder that BlushCrunch is a whole team of people, most of which were hired after 2024, not just Qwel. Boycotting Dandy’s World collectively punishes a whole group of people who had nothing to do with the drama. For me, it doesn’t feel right to punish an entire team for mistakes one person made two years ago.
Not playing doesn’t make you morally superior, and playing doesn’t mean you support a pedophile defender. Roblox as whole protects predators. Boycotting Dandy’s World seems so performative when Roblox itself is far more dangerous for children and people have literally been banned for exposing pedophiles, while pedophiles accounts stay up. Countless children have been groomed on the platform. They made minors do weird AI verification. How can you be so enraged at Qwel but be fine with Roblox as a whole? I genuinely don’t understand this mentality.
If you think the accusations against Qwel are worth boycotting the entire franchise over, you should also boycott Roblox.
