my new/used (less than 50 hrs.) X370 shut off for the 2nd time, just stops(yes i've got gas). 1st time water filled the bowl under the carb. happened again today, after 2x cutting my acre after removing water. i used heet after 1st one. i've got new gas and using top tier, if that matters. anyway i still have my 15yr old X300 with the 15yr old battered deck but the tractor runs fine. my question is while i'm waiting for the 370 to be fixed can i use the 370 deep 42" deck on my X300. the hook up looks identical but wondering if there's enough clearance for it to work. any help is appreciated also, any idea why mower is just stopping and won't re-crank? thanks

i went to get some gas out of the pump to see if water was in it. i pulled the hose off the the fuel pump outlet and started to collect the gas coming out and the motor started and ran as long as i kept the hose going to the carb disconnected from the pump. if i reconnect the hose ( from the pump to the carb) it won't start. any ideas?

my brand new used 2021 X370 with 60 hrs. just died while cutting the lawn. i had cut grass 3 times since i had it but today it just stopped. there's very little gas in the filter and i'm thinking it's the fuel pump. i put a new filter on with no change. gas doesn't flow out of the hose coming out of the tank but i can blow through that hose and i can hear bubbles in the tank. it's a 21.5 hp Kawasaki. are these mowers known for pump problems? if it is the pump is it just hook the hoses up and that's it? any advice on specific pump to get or are all just about the same? oem is more than twice that of an aftermarket. thanks

bought a X300 in 2011 and purchased a 5 gallon bucket holder that fit on the rear. turns out it was really helpful carrying tools etc.. recently found a good deal on X370, love the power steering, but it doesn't have the attachment holes on the fenders for the bucket holder. is there a different bucket holder for the 370 or can i still use my old one? are those hole inserts that go into the fenders an option and if so where can i find them and are they hard to install? thanks for your help.

changed transmission oil a couple weeks (50 hrs.) ago and couldn't see the oil level at full and put a little more in but still never showed full. cut the grass last week and still not at full. before i cut today there was a small puddle on the floor near the front. after i finished the lawn today the tank is showing about 1/4" above the full mark. so (1) does this mean i have a hydraulic leak and (2) is the level above full ok? it ran fine both days i mowed. when i changed the fluid there was a puddle where the deck would have been. now that the fluid level is showing a little above full should i just keep an eye on it or does it need to go to the JD Dr.??

i live in N.C. and i'm in my late 70s and don't have a will. everything i have is paid for, including home, and i have no debt. i have investments and savings in 6 different accounts, all with PODs established. my wife is the POD on 5 of the accts. and a distant niece is the other one. i hate to use the word assume but it's what i'm doing. my thought is that since i've established the PODs that those 6 accounts are covered and the only thing needed, if any, is a death cert.. since i'm married the house should automatically go over to my wife. am i correct or do i need a will? advice is greatly appreciated.

changed blades today on my new/used 50 hr X370. used block of wood to brace blade and took 1st on off and used block to install new one. the second blade came off again using the block but when i put the new blade on the block and blade stayed secure but the blade bolt just turned and turned with the wrench. i had to brace the belt pully to be able to install the blade. what's wrong? if it's the spindle will it still cut and do i need to replace a 50hr. spindle? i've never had a spindle go bad. thanks for your help.

can someone tell me where the front contact point is with a floor jack on a X370. this model has power steering and it is in the front area.

i've just changed the transmission fluid and used over 2 2/3 qts. and it's still a little low. specs. call for 2.4 qts.. should i continue till the fill line is reached? is it possible he transmission can hold 3 quarts? also can JD grease be mixed with all purpose grease ( JD says no ) or should i replace current grease with my new tube of JD? thanks all

what are the downsides of a used X370 (i think 2021 and looks like new) with 50 hours and what transmission do they have? also do those composite mulch kits really hold up? thank you for your help

recently purchased a X370 and the lady had no information at all and mower had only 44 hours. i'm trying to change the engine and transmission fluid. it seems the x370 has a k57 trans and i looked under the transmission and can't see the drain bolts. it doesn't look like the ones i've seen on youtube. my AI "copilot" says there are no drain plugs with the k57 and the fan and pulley have to be removed to do it. it has been wrong about 70% of the time so i can't trust this AI. how do you drain the oil from this transmission? if there's no plugs couldn't i just pull out the filter in the front and let that drain but it won't empty the transaxle or will it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

does anyone have any good or bad experiences with the x370? it also has a mulch kit with it and where the mulch door slides from right to left to close the chute has about a 3" hole. does anyone know how i can fix this and if so do you have the part #? i had a x300 for 15 years and my deck was beat to death. every year new holes in it. will this x370/44 hours give me the same problem and are the hydrolic lift and power steering potential problems? also are the internal baffles under the deck going to be trouble? thanks for any knowledge and advice.
