Gave my grandfather a treat for his 82nd birthday ❤️

Last year, I posted here after taking my grandfather out for his 81st birthday and wrote about the life he had lived.

Appuppan turned 82 this month, so it was only right that we ran it back.

But this time, I wanted to share something about the kind of Appuppan he has been to me.

I was his first grandchild, so the whole Appuppan business was new to him. And judging by the things he did back then, he took this new position very seriously.

My mother gave birth to me while she was still studying for her B.Ed. Just two months later, she had to return to college to avoid ending up with a backlog. Her classes ran from 10 AM to 4 PM, with just a one hour lunch break between 1 and 2.

At the time,two-month old me was still entirely dependent on breast milk and needed to be fed every few hours. Formula was technically an option, but not an option this first timer Appuppan was willing to entertain. And letting his new grandson go more than six hours between feeds? That wasn’t happening on his watch either.

That left him with one small logistical problem: getting my mother home, giving her enough time to breastfeed me and eat her lunch, and then getting her back to college, all within that single one hour break.

So in order to solve this problem, this absolute madlad went ahead and bought a second-hand Ambassador, the first car our family ever owned, and hired a full-time driver to go with it.

Every afternoon at 1 PM sharp, the Ambassador would be waiting outside my mother’s college. The driver would bring her home, where she would feed me, quickly eat her lunch, and then be driven back before classes resumed at 2.

Appuppan had basically bought our family’s first car and turned it into a private lunch break shuttle service just to keep his grandson well fed and happy.

Before I was old enough to form a single memory of him, Appuppan was already moving things around to make sure I was well cared for.

Nearly three decades later, I got to take that same man out for his 82nd birthday. Not much of a return for everything he has done for me, but then again, this man set the bar fairly high.

Happy 82nd birthday, Appuppa.. ❤️

After riding it to 100x over 8 years, I’m finally pulling out of this condom stock! 😌

Yesterday, Cupid Ltd became my first 100 bagger.

Posting another screenshot didn’t feel like enough to commemorate the milestone, so I sold exactly 20% of my holding, the first time I’ve sold any of it in eight years.

That one-fifth alone returned roughly 20 times the money I originally invested, while the remaining 80% continues to ride.

So this isn’t a full exit. Just a ceremonial pull-out to commemorate the milestone. 😌

A company that prevents multiplication became my first 100x multibagger! 😅

I know I’ve posted about this stock before, so I won’t repeat the whole lore again.

But as of today, my tiny college-time investment in Cupid Ltd has officially become my first 100x multibagger.

Out of all the stocks in the market, the one that ended up giving me this milestone was a condom company.

A company that prevents multiplication ended up multiplying my money 100 times 😂

My Cupid Ltd investment has officially crossed 9000% returns 🚀

So..

Another small update on the Cupid investment.

For people who have seen my previous posts, yes, this is the same condom company stock.
And no, I’m not going to repeat the whole college-room-condom-packet origin story again.

I invested in a condom company 8 years back. It’s now 69x 😌

Investment amount: 4508.32.
Current Value: 3.13 lakhs.

The funny thing is I accidentally discovered this stock after finding a pack of condoms in my friend’s room back in college.

Persistent underarm / side chest fat despite being fairly lean - cut more or build muscle?

I’m fairly active and not overweight, but I’ve had this persistent fat/softness around the underarm / side-chest area for a long time.

From the front, my waist and midsection look relatively lean, but the area near the armpits and lower side of the chest still looks soft/puffy. I know spot reduction is not possible, so I’m trying to understand whether this is more of a diet issue, a workout issue, or just normal fat distribution/genetics.

Any advice from people who had similar fat distribution would be helpful.
