"Mountains of the Moon" was one of the songs the Grateful Dead played when they were on Playboy After Dark in January of 1969 - long before 💥🚀Apollo 11's lunar landing (7/24/69)

🤪🤡✌️ Grateful Dead's history of dosing people with acid on the Playboy After Dark set - In Rock Skully's book he said everyone on the Playboy After Dark set got dosed except Hefner. He said Hefner only drank Pepsi on set, and that his Pepsis were kept under close guard to keep them from being dosed. Kreutzmann claimed however ( on late night talk shows) the Hefner also got dosed that night.

The Cruelty, a Child Unclaimed BBC

Have to recommend this as a brilliant piece of work. Amazingly insightful and well researched.

The case is about a little child found dead in the river in rural Scotland in the 1970s and covers the research done by a journalist who is a member of the Scottish traveller community.

Cannot recommend it enough.

Logi mouse not pairing with Asus Chromebook?

I’ve tried three mouse now…two worked at first but they were cheap and stopped responding. I changed the batteries but still wouldn’t work. So I got the Chromebook to forget them and tried my husband’s better quality mouse which works fine with his laptop. But my Bluetooth just keeps searching for new device and not finding it.

What am I missing? I have restarted both Chromebook and mouse and checked batteries.

Client who seems to either have ocd or anxiety

It’s a one off clean on a house someone’s just bought. She’s getting it all repainted but has asked me to clean all walls first as the previous owners “smoked outside” and she has small kids.

I asked if there was any evidence of smoking inside and she said none at all.

I also asked her if the painters were using a good primer which would seal the walls and she said yes but she wants it all cleaned before painting for her peace of mind

I explained that after cleaning the painters will make a mess with sanding etc but she says she understands and doesn’t care

I have a slightly weird feeling about the job…you know when your spider senses twitch?

Like she may be super fussy and not like my work or something

Would you as a cleaner be wary?

Kay’s Catalogues

Remember them? I bloody loved looking through the toys and later, the fashions.

I was never allowed to order clothes from it though. I had to go to Marks and Spencer damn it.

It was always someone else’s catalogue in our house. Like your aunties or neighbours and your mum would borrow it typically to order one thing.

▲ 200 r/Conures

If your conure doesn’t like you, hang in there! Mine officially likes me after two years!

He’s been indifferent/felt mild hatred towards me since my husband brought him home. He was 13 when his original owner could no longer look after him two years ago and he settled into our house well but despite me being the one who adored him most, he wouldn’t not tolerate me.

He loved my husband and teenager immediately and would do a celebration dance for them the moment they came in…for me…nothing but the evil eye and a bite lol.

However I kept on faithfully serving him…it’s been me who feeds him and cleans his cage and talks to him regularly.

He still hated me. My teen went away for a week on Friday and he decided that SOMEONE had to help him with his pin feathers so he flew onto my knee yesterday…first time EVER…and did me a dance 😭

I did his pin feathers for him and he’s been lovely to me since!

In the past he has tolerated sitting on my head and walking around to look out of the window but never let me touch him once.

I’m so happy 😀 😭

Are there any real old fashioned milk bars left?

In Adelaide? Or surrounding areas?

I first came here twenty years ago and remember visiting one somewhere near West Lakes. Just wondering if they’ve all died now?

It’s about a US 8 in size and is too large for my daughter so we were hoping to alter it into a more flattering style.

She’s about a US 2 so there should be enough fabric in it.

I’m just wondering what to do to make these alterations and how best to make it work. Thanks!

I think I’ve listened to everything good. There’s nothing new or captivating. Every time I click on a “popular with listeners or “suggestion on Spotify, it’s either terrible or AI.

Is there really nothing new and good?

That’s the coordinates given on another thread.

It keeps going to some aviation museum inside!

Paige Coffey was last seen on May 7, 2019 with her boyfriend at a Home Depot in the Steelyard Commons shopping center in Cleveland, Ohio on May 7, 2019. Coffey, age 27 at the time, had been living with her grandmother in Bratenahl while working in a retail store.

Her mother went to the police to report her missing on May 17, but days passed before law enforcement began a formal investigation. Investigators found no activity in her bank accounts or her social media after her disappearance. Her case was escalated in February 2020 by the Bratenahl Police Department and the Cleveland office of the FBI became involved.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults assisted Paige's family and worked to bring attention to her case starting in July 2019. NBC News' Dateline also featured her story in 2025 to bring more exposure to her case.

On the afternoon of April 17, 2026, skeletal remains were found in a garbage bag during the cleanup of a vacant home in the 3800 block of E. 142nd St. in Cleveland. The remains were identified by DNA as belonging to Coffey and the identification was announced on April 29, 2026. The cause and manner of Coffey’s death remain under investigation, and a new FBI agent was assigned to her case in early 2026, per Cleveland-19.com.

RIP Paige.
