Old Vanity Removal Reveals Pitched Drain

I have an old house, and this bathroom is going to get completely remodeled over the winter, but I removed the existing vanity and ugly board that was covering up the wall.

I’ve got a temporary vanity to replace the old inoperable one and am going to re-cover the hole in the wall just to get a sink back in place before the full remodel starts. The only that concerns me is that the drain pipe pitches downward about 1/2-1/4 inch. There’s play in the pipe but not the kind that will pitch it back to level.

My thought is to cut the drain pipe on the length of pipe that connects to the drain stack and use a coupling to reconnect the rest of the drain at a proper angle.

Am I wrong in my thinking? Is this more work than it’s worth for 4-6 months before it all gets ripped out and redone?

Troubleshooting 2 ac units

I’ve got two residential ac units on the top of my commercial property. Neither seem to be cooling but this is the first chance I’ve got to go up there and actually see what’s wrong.

I’m not an hvac pro, and I’m not planning on doing the repairs myself, but I want to have a clear idea of what’s wrong. I’ve got a buddy going on the roof in a bit to tell me what happens when I call for ac, and I have a troubleshooting list of things to look at from gpt but I could use some more advice.

Besides calling for cool and seeing if the fan/compressor turn on what other things should I be looking for? My preference is to replace what’s broken, not buy a whole new unit. My job puts me in contact with a lot of hvac pros but I’d like to get them some hard data that would be useful to them before I call them for help.

Based on my reading here it’s usually a capacitor a compressor or the fan motor. I’m bringing my multimeter up there to test whatever needs testing.

And yes once this is all wrapped up I will redo the insulation on those pipes.

Door handle broke off

So the door handle broke off of my roughly 8-10 year old microwave. The model and serial number have both faded from the nameplate so I’m not sure how to find the replacement part.

Also, I can’t find any fasteners on the door to even begin the repair process. I don’t use the microwave a lot and would much rather replace a part than the whole thing.

Any assistance is truly appreciated.

I got the game ages ago and my life got complicated. I’ve now got a new job and am hoping to take this with me on the road and play solo. I’ve read that some of the expansions are harder to find so I’m not really sure what I’ve got as far as rarity but the box is heavy and it’s filled with cards. Below is a list of the rulebooks that came included. I’m at a hotel now just trying to get a handle on whether this is something I want to keep bringing in the road.

Core set x 2
Heirs of numenor
Khazad dum
Hunt for gollum
Conflict at the carrock x 2
Journey to rhosgobel
Hills of emyn Muil
Dead marshes
Return to Mirkwood
Redhorn gate
Road to Rivendell
Watcher in the water
Long dark
Foundations of stone
Shadow and flame
Stewards fear
Druadan forest
Encounter at Amon din
Assault at osgiliath
Blood of Gondor

I’ve got all the boxes at home too.

How much more is there to get a complete set? Is there a preferred order to play this as a campaign or can I more or less make up decks and go adventuring?

I bought a ‘25 Limited for my new job late last year and love it. I drive somewhere between 2500-5000 miles per month in this car and so far it’s been pretty comfortable. I do want to add some accessories like dash cam, quad lock charging mount, high output laptop charger, inverter (maybe) and maybe a few more things as I go. Once I know the how to stuff I can calculate the appropriate battery/inverter size.

I hate the idea of piggybacking the existing fuses and I want to add a second battery and fuse block. I’m comfortable with the wiring of 12v dc circuits, but I’m not that experienced with batteries. Most of my experience is with inverted ac from a wall outlet.

I’ve read that to connect an auxiliary battery to my car I’ll need a dc to dc charger. I’ve also heard that (from the O’Reilly rep so salt grains) I can wire an aux battery to the main battery and be fine.

I’m not the type to jump into a project like this without knowing more, and I’m not necessarily looking for instructions, I’m just looking for advice on what to be aware of. Once I get my roof rack, my plan is to move the spare tire up to that and build the solution in the well where the spare used to be. From there I can wire the internal stuff and maybe even get access to wire some additional lights on the outside of the car.

Any tips/advice/wisdom is welcomed.

The outer pane of my storefront window shattered. The inner pane is still in tact. Rough measurements are 60x63. Funds are tight and I wasn’t expecting this so I’m trying to understand what my options are.

I’m calling local glass companies tomorrow but I’m hoping to understand how bad this is gonna hurt. I’m also making the insurance calls tomorrow too
