Is it okay to start dating after 2 years of separation before the divorce?

Just like the title states, I 47F have been separated for 2 years. I haven’t had time to go back home to file for divorce. I live in a different continent to my home and my soon to be ex. I have no plans or any inkling for reconnection of any kind. We have grown up kids the youngest is 14. We don’t even speak to each other. I have the kids and he is the parent that claims all the children’s achievements without any input of any kind. I want to date but am not sure if people would want to date someone who is separated. Any thoughts?

Study at BIC Budapest Accommodation Assistance and Suggestions

Hi. My daughter is moving to Budapest end of September. I need advice on accommodation since the dorm situation is not available. I would love to hear from students who are already studying there and know good landlords or alternative accommodation.
Thanks in advance.

What do you miss about being in a relationship the most.

48F. I’ve been single for almost two years now, after a 27-year relationship. Strangely, the only thing I truly miss is the simple comfort of cuddling. Sometimes I wonder if that’s normal or a bit unusual.

The relationship itself had been struggling for a long time—especially in the bedroom, which was essentially non-existent for years. More than that, there was emotional and financial strain that took its toll. The thought of ever going through that kind of neglect and imbalance again makes me hesitant to enter another relationship.

I do feel desire occasionally, but not often. For the most part, I find myself valuing peace, stability, and emotional safety far more than anything else.

Am I the only one who feels like this?
