Feeling a bit blah because I’m still waitlisted on all my other courses and debating if it’s even worth it to pay alll the extra fee’s to just be in one course… but also I really don’t want to prolong my education any further. Advice? I’ll have to decide before the 24th.
I’m currently a student and am looking for people who have made the move and can give some advice on the finance side of things. Is there a way to work and do school where I wouldn’t have to take out a loan for rent? Just curious how people are holding up! Thank you :)
Just getting into school for social work and I am a bit of a free soul. I love to travel and backpack and I don’t mind grinding and saving to be able to take time off here and there for adventures or small trips (which I’ve had the privilege in every job I’ve worked). Being stuck in a 9-5 really scares me. I’ve never had a job where my time off is restricted and I worry about work/life balance sometimes if I do go forward especially with the nature of the job and the extra need to take care of yourself and your mental health. Then also I feel I’m being greedy and should work work work like everyone else does. This life is just too short!
TLDR; Currently in BC hoping to move to the island and maybe even backpack Europe after I finish school, along with some other travel plans, but worried about feeling stuck!

I’m worried most of the restaurants I could work at won’t make enough tips. I’m starting my bachelors at 24 and most of my work experience are not jobs I can do with a school schedule. I would like to make as much as possible to support my education and general bills! If anyone has any ideas (or opportunities that would be amazing!) Would love to see what everyone is doing for work and what their schedule looks like with work + school.

Nope 😊🔫 Is major debt that you’ll never pay off just the norm nowadays and if so how much? Might help me feel a little less scared.. Not to mention I’m absolutely terrified I won’t be smart enough to get a high enough GPA for my masters, I haven’t researched or written a paper in 6 years!! Lord please save me

i can be creative and go full out and make shit up for him to do in my head but then i also worry i’m going too hard at it?
