Is there an easy and painless way to do this?

I had a bunch of coins of different denominations packaged in their own dollarama coin packages. I had expect to deposit my money at a TD Bank and be off on my way within 2 minutes.

Unexpectedly, teller from TD bank says that they have to inspect and count the rolls ... So he ends up just opening or ripping the rolls and count every coin one by one. Need to say ... this took about 15 minutes and he found no surprises ...

Questions:

A) is this normal behaviour with a teller? Mind you that my account TD is really old (when I used to have those grand father accounts).

B) I value my time. How can I deposit coins quickly and painlessly? What other options? Wealthsimple?

Hi all,

I'm in the highest tax bracket and my spouse is on the lower side. I already max all my register accounts. I like to explore minimizing my taxes. As such, I would like to loan my spouse about 300k-400k CAD total for investment purposes.

Questions on this:

A) is there a generic template document that I can use to set this up? Would I have to draft one every year if the prescribe loan rate changes?

B) I'm assuming I would need some separate accounts for the investments. Would the same be true for the account receiving the interest payments of the loan?

C) Anything else I might be unaware of when setting up the spousal loaning?

D) Is there an easy way to loan USD to my spouse? I haven't seen too many joint accounts for USD.

Just looking for some recommendations. Won't be able to come early.
