How do you put teams together?

Do you try and find synergy (like Blade and Morpheus)?

Do you go for a traditional Tank/Support/DPS

Support/AoE/Single Damage

Vibes?

I'm just starting off, and going for a Damage/Support/Environment with Vibes and some healing. So Dr Strange, Magik or Spider-Man and either a damage hero or the Hunter (because I didn't use the mod to allow story missions without him). I just love Spiderman and occult heroes and there are so few games with Dr Strange and Magik.

Vanilla or modded?

I've never really played this game, but decided to buy the season pass, dust it off and play. Not many games where you can play Magik and Dr Strange and they are some of my favourites.

For a first time, would you recommend the game be played vanilla or modded?

And anything you wish you knew beforehand?

I know you should pet the dog daily and to improve friendship levels the hunter needs to be present. And toss enemies into obstacles, my nephew showed me that and it seems fun.

People didn't show up for tea

We were expecting people for tea at 16:30, only they never showed up. Am I wrong that people who don't show up and don't tell people they're not coming, should be ashamed?

It's the 21st century. If you're not coming, don't waste people's time and just send a message. I had stuff to do but etiquette demands I show myself for at least 15 min. Worse still, these are the last days of my holiday.

Here are some homemade cinnamon rolls I made because we didn't have anything to serve and you really need something nice for tea.

What faction do you think will be in the Year 1 Expansion? [DOW4]

As the title says, any idea?

Or lacking that, which faction would you like it to be?

I'm going to confess, I want it to be the Eldar. I want it to be the Eldar so bad, the original title for this post was "where can I complain about the lack of Eldar?"

But then I remembered Tyranids and Chaos have their fans as well. And they're more popular as well. Drat

Looking for a particular pdf on horror gm'ing

So, I'm looking for this puff I found online. It was about how to properly GM horror.

This one talked about 5 different conflicts (against self, against nature etc) and used five different Alien movies to illustrate how they look like in movies.

I've found some gives googling it but not this one

Anyway, hope this rings a bell for someone because it really was a good guide

Nest found in cupboard

My window is always open and I found some abandoned insect nests in a cupboard and was wondering what they were.

Sorry, camera macro is a bit poor. Added better pictures in a comment.

What are the limitations of assets created by sorcery?

So I was browsing through the Marvel Heroic book and I wondered what the limit was of assets are with Sorcery.

Say for instance, you're making a Cortex Prime Marvel Heroes game. You have a character, a young mystic with the Sorcery power with the Constructs SFX (Add a d6 and step up your effect die by +1 when using POWER SET to create ASSET TYPE assets.)

Narrativewise, the mystic (let's call him Patrick) specialises in summoning constructs based off of popular characters (real or fictional) by using the imagination that goes into them by readers.

If he summons a construct based off of Thor, could that construct cause a blizzard complication? For example by rolling Bibliophile (distinction), Buddy (affiliation), Sorcery (power) and Thor Construct (asset)?

I feel it's a bit absurd, but I can't think of why it wouldn't be possible.
