Hello, I am medical graduate...thus want to ask a technical quesiton here

My mother needs to undergo dental procedure & she has undergone knee replacement surgery before one year

I am feeling anxious about this because i have seen couple of septic arthritis cases during my internship

The question i want to ask is what precautions should i take to avoid such complications.....

i know that my mothers dentist will be suggesting good enough prophylaxis to prevent infection but to reduce my anxiety i am asking this question here
