Green tier

I was just going through the fine print for what constitutes a green tick for wine. In summary, any purchase of a case of 6 or 12 bottles from a sustainable producer shall qualify. Is this requirement for 6 or 12 bottles new? I have only ever bought one bottle per year from Qantas epicure (now Qantas wine) using my voucher and have always collected the green tick (since green tier was incepted anyway) so now I am confused. Thank you.

Flight changes

Greetings fellow flyers, does anyone know what determines whether a ‘same day flight change’ is offered in the app? I’ve noticed this message pop up on 50% of my domestic flights. This is different to the ‘you’re travelling during a busy time, change to a different flight at no cost’ message that pops up quite frequently as well.

MacBook Pro issues

Greetings,

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro. I have two issues.

  1. I updated my software yesterday from High Siera to Ventura and now the machine is not recognising/registering when a USB stick is connected. Though the light on the stick is illuminating.

  2. Following the Microsoft 365 changes, I updated the software so that Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint would continue to work normally. My Microsoft subscription is up-to-date etc. After signing in on Excel (or Word) - I get an Unknown Error message (an unknown error has occurred. The error code is: 0x0) - I understand this is a wide-spread issue with many folks who are running older Mac devices.

Any help or advice in relation to 1. and/or 2. is greatly appreciated

Prospective student

Hi all, I am a prospective Juris Doctor student. A question about Monash JD end of semester exams, are they paper based (written) or typed up? And do you have a choice between the two? Thanks!

Where have our manners gone?

Why is it so few road users say thank you in our capital cities? Whether it’s to a driver whom has given way to you.

Pedestrians just as bad. Very rarely does someone at a zebra crossing acknowledge the stopped driver.

It is just because it’s 2026 and everyone is so busy and caught up in their own worlds?

Rent increase

What is a fair increase in % terms for a Sydney apartment? For some context, this will be the third lease this tenant is signing. For the second lease (first renewal), the increase was 3%. The tenants take very good care of the property. Thank you

Fixed term lease

If my lease started on 20 July 2025, for a fixed term 12 month lease, rent only needs to be paid up to 19 July 2026 correct?

Surely if I paid rent for 20 July 2026 I would be paying 12 months and 1 day of rent?

Thank you

Tax return

If rent for all of June 2026 is paid on time by a tenant, but the property agent does not pay the rent into the landlord’s bank account until July 2026, what year should the income be declared? Y/e June 2026 or y/e June 2027? Thank you 🙏

Points Club

Greetings frequent flyer experts,

I recently retained Platinum and Points Club.

Will the 1200 status credits that the app says I require before 30 April 2027 be honoured or could that increase to 1400?

Will the Points Club privileges be honoured until 30 April 2027 even if Points Club is ceased in the intervening time?

Will Points Club privileges be honoured until 30 April 2028 should I achieve the 150,000 before 30 April 2027? It seems inconceivable that the changes will not have been effected by 2028 so hopefully the privileges will be grandfathered?

Has the Qantas Wine voucher been removed from Points Club privileges?

Thank you in advance.
