If its ok to make fun of India for being unclean, it should be ok to make fun of all poor people

India is a country with a lot of hygiene issues, at least according to the news, Ive never been nor do I wish to but those issues are a result of poverty right? Like obviously, thats why places are dirty. Thats why london was covered in shit in the past. So when we make fun of india being gross, we are making fun of poor people for the conditions of their poverty. So I gotta say, its jo different when we make fun of poor american rednecks for being uneducated or poor people here in the north of the UK for speaking different or being less well educated. If its ok to make fun of some poor people, it should be ok to make fun of all poor people.

I respond to anti immigration posts with blatant misandry to give them a taste of how we feel

Im an immigrant and when I see anti immigration posts, especially in europe and the UK, like saying immigrants commit more crimes and stuff (which isnt even true) I just point out how men commit more crime than women and advocate for the same thing they want done to immigrants to be done to men. Its pretty cathartic tbh. And men have such soft skin so its easy to piss them off. I dont hate men, but theyre an easy target since most people on those subs are men.

If europe wants to stop mass immigration they should develop the rest of the world so people dont wanna leave

People move to countries with more wealth and opportunities. Thats just how its always been. Its no different to how people move to cities to make money. If you want to stop that, develop the other parts of the world and make them worth staying in. Till then, no matter what europe (or america) does, people will continue to try to get there and even if europe syarts sending them back, they will spend a fortune on it. Its funny how the first world complains about immigration while hoarding most of the wealth in the world

I feel like Ive missed out on being young

Im 21 now and I feel like I missed out on being a kid. I had a pretty miserable childhood and struggled a lot socially and was in constant fear cause our teachers would beat us pretty bad. I also lost my dad pretty young and my mom wasnt very involved in my life after which was probably for the best cause shes the worst. I grew up in a third world country (dont wanna say where) and while we things wernt as bad for us as some people, it was still pretty shit growing up and Im glad I dont have t0 live there anymore. In 2020 schools closed and after that I had to drop out of school for financial reasons and did my exams studying by myself so now Im in uni in the UK with barely any social skills from being isolated for so many years (I speak perfect english now though cause my only friends have been on a screen, lol) and about to start my third and final year. Ive made some friends but I only have 1 close friend I speak to regularly.

I missed out on love when I was younger and only had my first and only boyfriend at 19 which didnt last long and Ive been alone since. I feel like a faliure and I feel like I missed out on a lot of childhood experiences many of my friends talk about. I didnt have many friends as a kid and even now I dont have many close friendships making me feel pretty lonely at times. Ive been diagnosed with depression and BPD and Im on treatment but its not helping and im miserable most of the time. The only thing that consistently makes me feel better is some kinda drug like cocaine, weed or alcohol. Smoking helps too. I dont do these often cause Im broke though.

Does anyone else feel like they missed out on a normal childhood for any reason and relate?
