I have a cat and two small dogs, one is a senior who goes out every 4 hours,still loves life, and rocks a wheelchair on his shorter walks the other is a chihuahua who need proper introduction and takes some patience and know how.
My dog sitter is booked solid until October
I have had some horrible experiences in the past with wag and rover when my dog was younger and they needed only the very basics.
The sites do not vet or screen appropriately. For example My dogs were taken from my home for days without permission while my cat was left with no water and a dirty litterbox. That is just one story, two sitter just didn’t come for walks periodically during week long stays. It was horrible
I have been doing all their walks for 1.5 years every 4 hours during the day and I and would appreciate help for one of the walks a day
I am also evaluating a job that requires in office 3x per day (I am wfh currently). So this will likely become a real requirement for my life pretty soon

You need to
1- be biking in the protected bike lane that’s in this exact location
2- not be biking in the street on the drivers side
3 - navigate appropriately when you have a lot of time to react and the issue is in front of you.
NOT bike by SHOVE THE DOOR AND SLAM THE FUCKING DOOR ON THE older LADY GETTING OUT OF THE CAR!
Saw this happen today queens blvd at 45th st while I was sitting outside at McGuinesses and the rage I felt was enormous
The door was open she was getting out and he was no where near the car when the door was opening he was 1/2 a block or more back
She had her legs out of the car already and slammed the door on them and kept riding.
He wasn’t even supposed to be in the street
The ahole was on a Citi e bike the arrogance is insane.
The car wasn’t in or blocking the bike lane, and the cyclist was biking IN THE STREET on the drivers side instead of the PROTECTED bike lane.
Not a damn thing about any of it followed what most of us cyclists would do in that situation

I saw this dog from inside city Md for 30 mins aunattended while waiting to be seen, so it was out there for probably 45 plus before I left city Md.
It was in front of the radiology center so I Popped my head in and asked the woman at the checkout counter area if it was her dog. She said yes.
I offered to wait with it while she finished.
She at least brought out a cup of water for the dog
When she came out I said “just a heads up I volunteer in rescue and there is a major issue in nyc and this neighborhood specifically with dogs tied out being stolen, in the future try to avoid leaving him/her outside”
She’s like “well I could see him.”
I said “I understand, but that’s not enough to stop someone from grabbing him and putting him in a car that why I volunteered to wait with him”
She stormed off, called ME A bit@h said she should DOXX ME for “being annoying” and promply threw her water at me.
I said “seriously! I just spent 10 mins protecting your dog, and gave you a courtesy heads up about the issue widely posted about the last few years”
So if you know this dog talk some sense into its owner if they are your neighbor or friend.
And to her owner since you seem to like doxxing people who expose your neglect..
Here ya go I am sharing her dog, who really by rescue standards should be removed from her care for excessive neglect in 90 degree heat.
